Thank you for posting this tutorial. It made some extremely ropey instructions that came with the box make a lot of sense. My fiancee and I assembled ours in about half an hour last night following your video. Had we stuck to the manufacturers instructions I think we would have still been trying to put the thing together today.
Well presented, very helpful. Clear and descriptive with voice, no rushing with daft lift music in background. Helpful for many like me no doubt . Thanks.
Was stuck building our storage unit despite watching the Keter video, your instructions and guide was excellent, thank you so much ( I think I'm showing my age saying video !)
Cheers Rob - nearly gave up on it yesterday (on discovering the metal bar hadn’t been cut to the right size) got it sorted today after watching your vid - 25 mins my arse
erected this with my wife, both late 70's, had problems putting the metal bar in place, I took off about 2cms off one end, cut it through the outer hole, then everything fell into place, Video was helpful..
Thank you very much. Had one of these for months, waiting for someone to help me put it together. Got fed up waiting. Followed your video and managed to do it myself.
This was really helpful as I've just purchased two to make on my own , was a bit overwhelmed but this has helped alot with seeing how simple it is to make them , thank you
Iv just put one of these together following your excellent video. I must say your clarity made it simple to follow. Many thanks for taking the time in making the video.👍
Thank you posting this. Ours came without any instructions at all so was totally stumped! Your clearly presented video and helpful tips helped me get it right first time. Very much appreciated.
Just wanted to say a huge thanks ,I really struggled with this till I found your video ,it was so straight forward after watching it , so Thankyou once again
Great video, so much better than the others I tried. I couldn’t understand them then I came across yours and had it build all by myself in no time.I mis-laid the instructions a while ago 🫤cheers for the video, would have 16:32 struggled without your. Help, cheers 👍👍
A very helpful and well presented video. I struggled to follow some of the introductions that came with the product, so I needed this video. Thank you Rob 👍
Thanks a mil for this. Only took 2 of us 2.5 hours. There was blood and cursing and swearing to never buy self-assembly stuff again. But it would have been much worse without your video.
I put one of these together earlier and watched this to see if I did anything wrong. It looks like I didn't! In fact, it could have been me in this video, because every awkward bit I noticed, you noticed as well. The metal bar being the main thing and the back screws not wanting to go in. It was quite awkward at times. Despite that, it only took about an hour.
Thanks .. I was about to boot it all around the garden before I seen your vid 👍 Could not work out that back bit with the 2 parts 🤦...how you worked that out from them Instructions god knows 🤷 👍
Really helpful video - question... if you get to the point of fitting the doors and click the top fitting into place before you put the bottom of the door on the swivel point, can you release the top fitting at all?
@@robhodgson thanks for the reply! Update - you can... take the lid off, undo the screws holding the back on on the problem side, lay the box on it's back and the from underneath with a couple of screwdrivers you can unclick the side panel at the bottom. Then you put the door into the top fitting first and you should have enough leeway to slip it over the bottom swivel point
The holes on the metal strip are meant to be out, you just angle the tip of the screw in and the strip is supposed to bite into the plastic above? You lose the tightness of what there offset for if you move hole. I know it’ll be fine but I’ve done about 10 of these and spoke to the rep, he said this but who knows 😂
Thank you! Lovely clear instructions. Also, issues we might have anticipated and workarounds provided. Lovely accent by the way. Where is this accent belonged to?
Don't forget to post the "how to dismantle" video in 10 years time when you want to take it apart, but find that the sides don't detach, and no one showed how the hidden clips on the sides function on their assembly video 10 years previous!!!
The holes on the bar don't line up correctly because the plastic back is not the correct height. Naturally you assumed that the bar should rest on top of the plastic back. But you have now crossed over into the Keterverse. Push the bar up a few more mm (where it is actually meant to go) and the holes will line up. The plastic back is still in the channel of the metal bar so things kinda work. Just need to send out a Backpfeifengesicht to the Keter QA team.
Update: a solution to the door hanging problem... Remove the lid Unscrew the screws holding the relevant side to the back Put the box on its back Working from underneath you want to release the black clip holding the side into the base, should be possible using 2 thin screwdrivers That should loosen everything enough to create space to get the door hung. Put the door on the top (longer) spigot and you should be able to pull and pop the door onto the bottom one. Then reassemble!
The reason the holes didn’t line up on the metal bar is you put it on the wrong way round the piece of tape goes to the outside not the inside of the box
Just got mine today and the biggest problem so far is fixing the metal bar on top of the back panel. I actually forgot to put the metal bar on and it all fitted together fine. Once the metal bar is on, I can't get the top part to lock together and I'm really struggling. I don't have anyone to help me so it will be a case of trying to persevere until it fits :/
When you say "the metal bar is longer than the plastic back" what you really mean is the metal bar is the wrong length. Clearly Keter have some terrible quality and production issues and you will have to saw off about 15mm of the bar and re-drill the holes so that everything fits together the way it is intended.
DO NOT BUY!!!! My daughter bought the Keter Darwin 6x8 a few weeks ago. I travelled from Scotland to Cumbria yesterday to erect it. What a waste of time, 5 of the main wall joining parts are missing so can't do it. Phoned and messaged them to be told I cannot have them without her invoice which I can't get as she is currently on a cruise so out of touch. It's blatantly obvious that the only people who would request these specific parts would be the ones where their incompetent staff hadn't included them!!!! AVOID KETER
Mate fantastic video .
Made my Sunday alot easier assembling this storage bin.
Big thank you
Thanks Rob. Much easier than following the picturebook provided. Helped save a marriage!
Just put this together. Didn’t even use the instructions I found this video a lot easier . Thank you

Thanks for posting this, tried putting mine together this afternoon and was convinced the bar was too long and did not fit. You confirmed it!
Great video, thought I was going mad with the metal bar. All sorted, thanks for the tips!

Thanks always good to see someone actually do the job instead of trying to follow each instruction.

Nice instructions - easier to follow than the video from Keter 😊
Email Keter please and tell them to buy the rights to the video :)
Thank you Rob - this video really helped.
Fantastic tutorial, and it saved me from spending all day trying to read jumbled instructions. Thanks
Very Useful Video. Thanks so Much
A very helpful and well presented video. I struggled to follow some of the introductions that came with the product, so I needed this video.
Thank you Rob 👍

Cheers for the vid. No instructions with mine so followed you step by step. 😉👍
Having the same trouble with the metal bar, I had to abandon the job halfway and am going to cut a fraction off the bar. Honestly so frustrating!
Thanks! Were better instructions than the manual 👍
Excellent, much clearer than the instructions. 👍
Really helpful and well explained instructional video, thanks so much 😊
Thank you for an easy explanation - I just followed you and it slotted together perfectly.
Thanks for this vid, just bought one, think it will save me hours when I put it together 👍

Good helpful video, thank you for taking the time to share 👍🏻
Thanks nice and concise without silly music etc!
Great vid, got mine today and the instructions were saturated. Used this vid and covers the lot. Thank you.

Sorry, not sure on that one! I suspect you can with a bit gentle persuasion but never tried to

That's good advice Gary, thanks for the feedback
What is the difference between this Arc and the store it out max thank you 👍
Hello, I have a question: do you know how to break it down into parts? I have a problem with removing the hinges
How to take the side panels out please once they’ve clicked in?
Nice job thanks

what is the inside measurement of the shed?

My lid has gaps on the back can you help
Sorry I don't think I can help with that one
As an idiot I put the hinge in place before I located the bottom pivot point - any ideas on removing the hinge - excuse the stupidity
I too have done this I think it needs takin off on the side
Any suggestions here would be appreciated as we have done the same!
Update: a solution to the door hanging problem...
Remove the lid
Unscrew the screws holding the relevant side to the back
Put the box on its back

Could you fit 2 adult mountain bikes in there ?
Not unless they're dismantled
@@pawnshops thank you I will look at the keter ultra .
Hoping that will fit the bikes .
Top to tail maybe but think it would be very tight
Thanks Rob Hodgson, I think I'm going to go for the store it out ultra I think that should be big enough .

Hahaha spot on! I didn't and it's kept water tight but it's not a bad idea. Is that you did?
@@robhodgson yes, just a few minutes with the hacksaw and a bit of drilling. Worked a treat.
Thanks i could not see how to do the back the instruction are crap.
