Very interesting 👍 The only area I didn't like in the routing was under the muffler. I guess in the end if you deploy it you don't care if the it snags it and rips it off as long as you come down safe 😁 Cheers

Does the rocket always aim toward the right and bridel mounting always go on the right wing with the Aerolite 103? My Aeorlite has a 447 engine and B gearbox with the prop rotating clockwise.
I want to be a pilot when I get older in the RAF but I want to get my ppl but I think it’s to much for me and my family so I was thinking of getting a Aerolite 103 but I don’t know how much they cost to operate and if I’m even allowed to fly them in the uk under the age of 17
Just get training before you fly any ultralights this is why they got a bad reputation because people have no experience catch the flying bug can't resist just going for it and flying without any training. When your ultralight CFI thinks your ready can go fly it.

That's what I was wondering have to shut the engine off that would take too long if something went wrong not high enough.

A recent EAA webinar presented by BRS stated that approximately 400 feet was the minimum elevation to successufuly deploy the parachute.
