If Katt walked away to get away, why did he tell the kid to follow him? Katt was wrong (as was the kid), but Katt is the adult in the situation.

Russell Adams It is a waste of time for police and courts to arrest them. This kind of thing happens in sporting events most every month at least on TV. Players argue and push each other, wrestle, hit, etc In football and hockey most often. Should not have arrested them. Twchnically, can put restraining orders on both so they no longer ever make contact with each other. Those restraining orders just sit in a courthouse and have zero negative effect as long as the two stay away from each other and make no contact.
The court can also remove restraining orders as t a later date if the court and Williams and kid are okay with it. This was stupid to arrest them. Arrest every guy who pushes down his opponent in a fight in football on TV etc. Ridiculous.
Takes 3 minutes in court and Katt and kid have to get to court on their own.
