the bug I found most annoying is in the financial district. it's a dialog bug. right after ellie gets to use the rifle for the first time, and u take out all enemies, there is a cutscene of joel giving ellie a pistol saying it's more her size etc. there is a hanging body from a tree that u can click on to get an optional dialog. the bug is, if u skip the cut scene of joel giving ellie the pistol, the dialog option won't pop up. nothing fixes it. there is an auto save that happens right at the end of the cutscene and if u skipped it, the auto save remembers that. if u don't have a hard save close to that area, u either have to go way back or just replay the chapter all over again. that bug shouldn't exist, u should be able to either watch the cutscene and or skip it and the prompt for the dialog should happen regardless and we all know there is a trophy for all optional dialog.
I found a glitch right after you kill Jerry. The glitch makes the doctors invincible (but melee fists still kill them for some reason); to do it you have to shoot a 9mm bullet into their leg and shoot their torso with your assault rifle.
Game development does have an element of knowing what to spend your time patching. That thing with the capitol building, that’s something you wouldn’t really patch, because it’s something no one will really actually experience. The mirror thing with the vanishing rifle, that’s one you don’t really fix either and especially not the sniper npc thing, because only players determined to break something are going to be throwing smoke bombs into that nest. But those culling issues and maybe that easy out of bounds glitch, that’s patch worthy stuff, because they’re more likely to be a part of player experience even if most players still won’t run into the issue. This actually speaks to another big issue at play, which is ”Why didn’t they add dodging or prone?” and the answer is the same, developer resources. Plain and simple. Dodging and prone requires reworks of entire game systems and level designs at a fundamental level and what becomes obvious to anyone who has done game development themselves is that cost/benefit ratio is incredibly low just for the sake of adding two new mechanics. Same principle as considering what to patch, is it actually worth the time and effort to do?
@@pl4yer_carnif1cina52 Then you aren't really understanding what goes into game design. Just adding those two mechanics into the game doesn't make the game better, the reason they make TLOU2 better is because the level design is built from scratch with those mechanics in mind, making them actually mean something in the context of real play. You can have a million mechanics in your game, it doesn't make the game better. And plus, their official explanation is that they didn't feel right for the game they had, or didn't feel right for Joel, which I understand a lot, having a 52 year old man moving as athletically as a couple fit 20 year old girls doesn't sound right to me either. Add that on top of what I have already said about integration of game mechanics into level design and development time and resources and it's no wonder they didn't add dodge or prone. On top of that, there's a whole different side to it... It's The Last Of Us. It ain't broke! Making fundamental changes to the game's mechanics makes it a different game and a lot of people don't want the game to be different, just better. This game won like hundreds of GOTY awards and was beloved by the gaming world, going buck wild with changes just for the sake of incorporating two new mechanics is absurd, it's not the same as upgrading the AI behavior, improving the graphics, balancing some weapons and heightening game feel through haptics and such, those just allow the game as it was originally to work better and that was the creative vision behind this remake, to make the same game as before, but modernized and better. Prone and dodging were objectively not worth the trouble of implementing.
@@The_Story_Of_Us it's a remake, it's the perfect opportunity for adding new things. You don't need to completely change the level design, keep it very similar to the original, but add new spaces connected through places where there were a door originally(for instance), ones that are prepared for part 2's mechanics. The whole point of a remake to me is to add new things, in respect to the original and that WAS POSSIBLE. About speed, i see it as a ridiculous excuse. Make Joel's dodge 2 or 3 seconds slower than Ellie's and Abby's, since he is older. Same thing for prone. Joel is capable of running from a horde of infected, so i totally believe that HE IS capable of dodging and crawling. With dodge taking longer to happen it would be making us have to press the button earlier in part 1 cause we'd know that that would take a while to be performed, it would've been hella cool, in my viewpoint. That was the best opportunity for them to make the game's combat closer to as good as it is in part 2, without being identical. People don't want it to be different, only want it to be better? You see, the moment you change a millimeter of a rock's position in a remake you ARE already making it different, but not necessarily better. They could have adapted those 2 mechanics for Joel and change the speed that they happen, adapted the environments, but like I said, THEY DID NOT WANNA DO THAT. But of course, this is just my perspective and you have no obligation of agreeing with me at all.
@@pl4yer_carnif1cina52 I’m sorry, but this is just nonsense. You absolutely have to fundamentally change the level design when you add a new traversal mechanic, this is not an argument you get to make because it’s game design 101. Mechanics must be adapted to a game space to create worthwhile game dynamics. You then argue for a clunky, unwieldy dodge mechanic that flies in the face of any real reason to have such a mechanic to begin with on top of again having to change the level design to accommodate such a thing. And all of which runs back to the very beginning, the very BASIS of any game design you could ever do and that is just… WHY? Why on earth would you spend all the time and effort to do such a thing? What do you gain? What do you lose? How does it screw with the tone and artistic intent of the original. You don’t actually have an answer to these questions, just “I wanna add new mechanics because that’s a good thing to do” circular logic. I want more mechanics because that’s good. You fail to establish what those mechanics actually contribute to the experience and epically fail to measure the pros and cons of implementation because you have no real pros and you are seemingly not understanding the cons at all. I don’t wish to argue with you anymore on this, I have no more to say to you about it. If you want to have real discussions with people about this, take a game design course or two… Or six like I have so far. And play the game again if you haven’t already.
Fantastically worded. I'm honestly really sick of people posting hate comment after hate comment about something people did put genuine time and effort into making. I don't think there's anything I could honestly say that you didn't already say perfectly. So nice to see something positive and VERY well explained amongst people who clearly don't have a clue what they're talking about.
Funny little bug that happened to me yesterday. During the sewer mission, I fired the shotgun at a clicker when suddenly the muzzle flash effect just froze, so I spent a good chunk of the game with the muzzle flash attached to the gun. I tried firing the gun again, but nope, that muzzle flash was forever stuck to the gun. I had to reload checkpoint for it to get fixed. XD
This bug is easy to find in both Part 1 and Part 2. Dust particles, which are mostly visible areas with fog lights, god rays, or spores, a lot of the times can be seen completely frozen in place, like the particle simulation just stopped working. And sometimes they even stop detecting shadow maps, filling the entire room with dust particles.
I noticed alot of culling in my gameplay too. Probably one of the only things that really bug me. Takes me out of the immersion. But didn't really detour me from the amazing gameplay & story.
Its nice that the sniper is an actual model now, but many people complain that you cant kill him directly from the street. ND should have different mechanics here, they ended up with a buggy mess :)
That cool moment when you're watching the video and your name pops up as they show the Capitol Building glitch you found. Ha was not expecting that, cool video and thanks for the shout out.
The amount of money this remake cost you would have thought there would patch it up seeing how it’s built from the ground up my PS4 remastered copy got no bugs at all not that I come across and it only cost me a tenner from a game shop I suppose that’s progress for you money can’t buy a bug free game this day and age ❤
Hi Speclizer love your videos have a question: In the original E3 demo there’s a dodge animation where Ellie dodges low and backs herself up against a car? You can see something resembling the animation if you jump at a wall. Does this animation still exist in the game somewhere? For all I love about the dodge in this game, I feel like they simplified it at the expense of requiring any kind of mastery or specifics (as in what direction you’re going in response to attacks or how far away you are).
4:04 having to do this is not necessary in the remake, since you can wait til the guys bust through the door and kill them. Tess is fully modeled this time since they letting you go in there 🤔 but maybe the glitching won't be the same then in the water..
omg saying your videos are good is an UNDERSTATEMENT YOU ARE SO GOOD I SWEAR i binge all ur videos they’re THAT good also, how do you make the ammo amount/the pieces of items you get for stuff to infinite?? i’ve never understood that!
First one really isn’t a mistake happens on ps3 and ps4 version as well you just can’t kill him story wise in till you sneak behind him in the building just how the wanted that part to go
Recently I had experienced a glitch in the entrance of Bill's town, I don't know how I did it, but 1 of the 2 clickers trespassed the closed gate. So it might be possible in part 1 as well?
I love when gamers get out of their way to try out what's possible to do in a game! Like taking the bin into the water or killing a NPC during a cutscene. So creative, I love it! Things like leaving the building after Tess's death or the ghost NPC seem like things the devs could've noticed, plus obviously the out-of-bounds and culling glitches, but maybe they add fixes in a patch? I personally enjoy bugs as long as they're not gamebreaking, so thank you for showing us some interesting ones :)
Thanks to those who found some of these! If you've found any glitches, leave a comment to be featured in the next episode. Hope you all enjoyed this!
Yes i have 2 funny glitches
They are on my channel

I found one. A really good out of map glitch ua-cam.com/video/-m2kz0aAla0/v-deo.html&ab_channel=GameMakersWillHateMe
That first glitch is nightmare material.
2:18 wtf joel vs my dad 😱😱😱
All games have small bugs, this is a really interesting coverage of them.
Scammer alert
Kinda scary how the shooter turned into a ghost 😱
The Ghost of Outbreaks Past. The Last of Us HBO is a Scrooged Sequel CONFIRMED!
02:33 Paul Verhoeven’s _Hollow Man_ .
i hope they don't fix the first one. that one is kinda cool 😅
There's something so funny about Joel in dark room just going ham on an invisible dude🤣
That first bug is insane 😮
It's like your house is being haunted by shadow people.

It’s crazy when bugs seem to take a life of their own. Fascinating, actually.
they’re not bugs anymore they’re insects

9yr old me fighting an imaginary villain
Ellie would scream in joels voice in left behind when killed by a clicker
Omg the sniper following Joel around is terrifying 😅
The first one is creepy as hell lol

2:40 oh look it’s the Human Torch

That first glitch is the script for a new horror movie
I had a glitch where when I use a bandage the physical bandage would appear on Ellie's arms in the same spot it should be on Joel's
Aww poor shadow NPC ❤️😩 he seem so lost
Thank you for finding all the sniper glitchs🤩

Its funny because that sniper bug reminds me a lot of the sniper bug in part 2
There’s a glitch in the Ellie part with her backpack that personally annoyed me a little lol. It doesn’t affect gameplay, it just looks weird.
First step on have to get a friend. Give a smoke to a sniper
Naughty dog are now frantically working to fix all of these bugs to make the game perfect
Sure they are
Speclizer is such a good UA-cam he always bring good content keep up the good work

In the hotel stage you are able trap Ellie if she leans against a drawer and you open it.
I did the first glitch but he became invisible and he attacked me but I could not hurt him. Scary.
it is possible to kill the clicker also in the custscene in the city bill , and very fun
How about when ellie pops the clutch on an automatic truck.
The Sniper NPC is the "Invincible Hollow Man'.
nice loop in the video preview xD

Thank you for the video, its hilarious LOL

I wish i have a ps5 to play it
Another mistake are the sirens at the end of the game when you’re carrying Ellie are way too loud. Ruins the whole scene
Thanks for another TLOU content

Wow this game is beautiful
In the first game the first mistake was just a rotating gun. They should have removed the blindspot in the remake.
First bug Is what makes elder ring and cyberpunk different games because the story could simple play different,
I think if you throw enough Molotov’s at the sniper the npc will die
Why didn't you go into the room where the sniper was to show us the knife kill?
What's the first background music?
I found other glitches in the game which I’ve recorded, where to submit em in your chanel?
The red door in the hospital being completely different to the original and Part 2 is annoying.
You know what the real mistake is to not watch you immediately
It's so sad they couldn't do a better game after uncharted4 because of the retirement of some ....they are just redoing the hits after a flop
