Jonny is getting better at interviews
Kkk no way, always dodging bullets, being vague and not revealing much...so brilliant
It's their best work since in rainbows imo. What a time to be alive!! 🎶
Awe inspiring album, what a trip! ❤
This is an amazing album, takes a couple of listens but worth ,album of the year .
The Smile is just as good as Radiohead....there I said it.
It's refreshing to hear what Thom & Jonny can create when they don't have the pressure & expectations of it being a Radiohead album
kinda played safe i think, but still so good
That’s a lame comparison. Considering
At this point I agree. This new album is better then anything Radiohead released in the past decade + imo. Don’t need another Radiohead as long as the Smile is active
Naaa
Very cool. I love how down to earth Johnny is
This album is one of JG’s crowning achievements.
incredible editing
Yeah, me too. Hope it continues.
“…it’s quite uncomfortable isn’t it? (Jonny)”______perhaps.”
Are orgasms uncomfortable?
Why does the audio cut out?
Probably to mute the music to avoid potential copyright stuff.
pls fix audio
No...WE re Lucky!
I think you'll find Thom plays the bass on most tracks.
the absence of nigel is very visible though
not really - sounds very very similar to his production
Why do you think so? Now you made me interested man.
Very audible?
No one will disagree with you there, but the production choice was also very intentional. They’re doing something different every step of the way.
Nigel Godrich has the God touch, but he produces a very specific sound that is achieved through being so methodical. For one reason or another, they’re not working with Nigel because that’s probably not what the sound of The Smile needs.
Love Nigel, but their two albums so far sound great. Production is an under-appreciated step in music, but to someone of the trio’s (Greenwood, Skinner, and Yorke) caliber, the writing is what is integral to their music.
Put simply, I agree. Nigel’s absence is obvious.
And that’s okay.
Edit: Forgot to put caliber in there.
I actually think the production on Wall of Eyes is much better than ALFAA, so not that noticeable
'What does this lyric mean?'
'Does this lyric mean that ??'
Terrible interviewer.
I was hoping for a question about their opinion on the genocide of Palestine
Ed called for a ceasefire a quite a while ago
Free Palestine
