Wow, this tiny cooler is good for up to 180 watts? 80c is a good temperature ceiling for me. That goes a long way on AMD. Glad to see it. Gamers Nexus also found this to be good for VRM cooling since the fan pushes air under the heatsink too. I am hoping i can pick this up for a build in the Ncase M1 Evo
Can you please test the Thermalright Silver Soul 135 under the same condition? Me and many other people use this air cooler (considered to be the best 135 mm air cooling option) in combination with NCASE M1/M1 EVO. It would be great to have direct and relevant comparison with Peerless Assassin 120 Mini, which looks very promising.
Not so long ago, I used the Silver Soul 135 model with the 7950X. The bundled cooler of the Silver Soul 135 model has a maximum 1850 RPM, while this PA120 MINI is the same looking cooler, but it has a specification of 1500 RPM that is about 20% lower than the maximum RPM. Nevertheless, PA120 MINI was superior in cooling performance, and even if community opinions were put together, PA120 MINI was evaluated better than Silver Soul 135.
I got one of these today and what I noticed is the part of the heatsink k that comes further out is roughly 92mm. I’m wondering if in addition to the 120mm fan in the middle of two 92mm fans on this upper portion of the two towers would increase the performance a bit more.
The fan should be mounted at the ram side heatsink so that the fan will vacuum the air at the front and blow at the rear. But because he mounted it io side the gap at the front will make the ram side heatsink useless.

1. I haven't tested it, but it is expected to provide sufficient cooling performance. 2. The maximum FAN speed was low, so it was not at a level that felt noisy in a load situation. 3&4. When a typical 120mm cooling fan was installed, the cooling fan was too protruding upward to fully utilize the cooling fan performance.

I've also undervolted my 13600K to -0.09 and I get something like 130-135W all cores so I should be getting something like 70 degrees max. I'm getting it today as I'm trying to lower the sound of my current setup.
I really want the thermalright to be made on PA90 2-tower cooler with 92 mm fans like a JIUSHARK JF200 MINI. Or with one 92 mm fan with 6 or 7 pcs heatpipes like ak90 or made venomous mini.

MINI products provide excellent performance in environments where low profile CPU coolers are required, but there will be no significant benefit if you use a case that is compatible with a typical height CPU cooler.

Sorry I've never used the CPU used for the server so I'm not sure if it's compatible with the 2011-V3 socket. The PA120MINI uses a smaller heat sink and one fan than the PA120SE. If it is an environment where the PA120SE can be installed, we expect the PA120SE to provide more robust cooling performance.@@antimatter7455
Is there no way to change the orientation of the heatsink in AM4? I know its a silly question but I'm planning on using it on a MATX build and I'm planning on doing bottom to top airflow since the case is so small. Edit: The case does not have a front intake because that is where the PSU sits on and has bottom intake only.
you would need a hiher rpm fan like a p12max, bequiet silent wings pro 4 or even t30 if it fits. 2000rpm should be enough for gaming. this one only goes up to 1500. I have this cpu cooler in the meshroom d with a p12 max running at 2k rpm and still is quiet

When looking at the heat sink cooling performance of the CPU cooler except for the cooling fan, PA120 MINI was the best.

FUMA3 has a higher cooling capacity, but I think it will be the same based on ZEN4 AMD CPU.

Unfortunately, the bundled AM4kit does not support CPU heat sink 90 degree rotation mounting.
You can't mount square 120mm fans?
since it uses a traditional clip mount design on the fins, I reckon you can. you just need clips that go into holes for square fans
If you get a separate normal 120mm 25T FAN Clips, the mounting itself is possible, but the height will exceed 135mm.

It uses a 120mm 25T cooling fan. However, the edge of the side edge is cut off, and there is a difference in the position of the screw hole.
