Somewhere under water
Maybe you could find my heart
That's where I threw it after you had torn it out
Oh, three days ago
The doctor he said so, told me:
Every skyline and every night spent alone
Is tearing me apart
Maybe I should get some help
Maybe I should fly out to Montana
It's quiet
Out past the electric lines
Out where no one will know my name
Oh, I've had it now
I am walking down to your house
Banging on the door
"Please, please, please, Mr. Hox
Won't you tell your daughter I'm all alone
And I'm not handling this well."
You never know what you have
Until you get it yanked out of your chest
I am walking to the water
Standing on the bank
Staring at my reflection
"Oh my god, I look pathetic tonight."
Well, guess what now?
I'm diving in this river
Fishing out my heart
Never gonna let you
Never gonna let you get your hands on this again

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MISTER HOX and "oh my god i look pathetic tonight" are such good moments in this song. Like the whole thing is great but damn.
Brings me back to trips out west- blasting this with college friends!!
Fantastic album. I was born in 1992 and wish I was in high school during that 1996-2001 era. Seems like it was a fun time to be a teenager.
it truly was
I was 16 in 96, and emo and weed were my best friends because every girl I slept with cheated on me but it was the Golden age and I wish I had known it would never be that good again. I kinda did but I kinda didn't. you know how it is
I know I was born in 92 as well. We didn't get the awesome music we deserved in highschool.
Born in 92 and idk what y’all are crying about. We definitely had our own metal core/pop punk scene that built on these records. Local shows were popular even in small towns 2007-2012. Lots of good music made between those years as well and with a more populated scene.
Highschool was rad
yeah...and I still do not care what the preps and jocks think
it really was
Fuck yeah 😎 it was!
College was when I bloomed
YES! This album taught me how to be a good BF instead of grabbing trash cans, throwin em on neighbors cars just to beat the cops on my BMX. Still, I’d go back to Fn w/ pple n tellin cops to F off. lol.
Best pop punk vocal performance ever!
good,,,, song
Brian Sumner .
One Step Beyond
Ricky Gervais
Lol dam i didnt know that. Never would have guessed
@@abectv for real?? What was on the tape?
Every time I hear this song I am transported back in time to watching his part when I was a kid. That whole video was incredible.
Man, so good. Always funny how great pop songs go under the radar but maybe that's better.
This album didn’t go under the radar.
Punk* and this album was far from being under the radar. Everyone I know can quote lyrics from this album.
