After the 3rd week of trying to like it i gave up on it. Ghost was still a BAD game but it wasnt terrible but it basically was the start of all the bad Cod games. BO2 was very good and i enjoyed the futuristic style becuse it was there but it still felt like Cod. Cod now has been shit since after that game.

It's not a "master race" title, especially when you factor in the problems with DICE and EA being money grabbers and they're too lazy to fix their game until the fifth the DLC rolls around. You will never be what the original MW and MW2 developers at Infinity Ward were. You have consistently failed the gaming community and you're proving that you aren't even listening to gamers. No one wants a futuristic game anymore! you've done too much of it already! it's getting ridiculous!
If Activision had any chance to get those original developers back (the ones they had fired) at Infinity Ward, IW might get to the top again. Unfortunately, CoD is just the same junk over and over and over again. And you know that the only way you can sell your new game is by remastering a classic that redefined gaming and attaching it to the dud you're about to release. You know it's complete junk. You know it's going to fail! So you have to attach it to something that was actually successful. All you can do is remaster something amazing, developed by better minds and attach it to your junk.
It's a real shame Activision had to get those developers fired. Now look where the CoD name is. Being dragged through the mud by treyarch and lesser minds at IW. I switched over to Battlefield a while back. Even with the bugs, at least I'm getting far better game play! And I don't have all those ridiculous 10 year old kids camping in the corner of the CoD map because they have no tactical ability. That's all CoD is. It's ridiculous! CoD has been dead since black ops came out. The last good game CoD had was MW2. What a shame. It was a good name until that point.
Activision will continue to drag their title through the mud and put out this junk because they're making money on it. But more and more CoD will realize that they are losing their best gamers. Those kids will grow up and will realize how stupid CoD is. The next generation of kids won't want to play your games in the first place. They'll be taken in by something else entirely. CoD will die, and I'll be laughing at the funeral! I'll even contribute to the burial by dumping bags of concrete on top and pissing in the mix.

I guess you don't about the former lead designer for COD4 and MW2 is back as the multiplayer project director for this game. So I wouldn't write off the game before we have seen anything from the multiplayer side of things.

The CoD community is just full of hypocritical whiners. For years people whine about how "it's all the same, where's the innovation? CoD needs to give us something NEW" and then they finally give in and start trying new things and now "we just want our old CoD back stop with the futuristic crap we just want another CoD4 or World at War."
I understand that the futuristic setting and new mechanics might be getting tiring, but I hope the community understands how hypocritical and whiny they sound. You can always say "oh, the recent games are just shit," but that's pretty much been said about every game after CoD4 during their post release year. I don't remember anybody complaining about Call of Duty remaining the same. Perhaps there was some, but that quickly settled once Advanced Warfare dropped and was complete shite.
This franchise was founded upon realistic and gritty wars. Jason West, Vince Zampella, Robert Bowling and the rest of their team took map design to godly levels. They should still be at the helm but Activision fucked them over.
Treyarch did a great job with World at War but since then their entries have been mediocre, imo. Rambling here but nobody wants this futuristic shit, unless the kids enjoy it.
I'm twenty-two and experiencing the golden age (Modern Warfare, World at War, Modern Warfare 2) turning into this is bang average, over convicted, heap of shit maps is just sad.
Thank fuck it seems like Modern Warfare Remastered is going to be a thing, though. Even if they're withholding some of the maps to released alongside Infinite Warfare map packs.

They did listen to the community because they started developing this game when everyone hated ghosts and modern cods. This is what we asked for at the time. We all asked for change from the same old thing like cod ghosts or mw3. And they gave us change and all you guys want now is to go back to the normal cod. What do you guys want?
