Hearn says Eubank's profile would be through the roof if he fought Golovkin two years back. But let's be honest, the profile of Eubank right now is far bigger than the profile of Brook (who took the fight) has ever been. Plus - let's say Eubank lost to Golovkin... doubt Hearn would have stuck around to help pick up the pieces.
As it is - think Sr and Team Eubank have managed Jr's career spot on thus far tbh. He's aligned Jr with the biggest commercial broadcaster in the UK, got him entered into a tournament that strips away all the promotional politics that had held up his career in the past and lets the fighters take centre stage. If Eubank had no profile the WBSS simply wouldn't have been willing to let him into the tournament as a seed - and frankly he's probably got the biggest UK profile out of all the fighters in it; cruiser or super middle.
Think Eubank was absolutely right to leave Matchroom and go his own way - and if he beats Groves next Saturday he'll be reaping the rewards without having a promoter leaching off his success and hanging onto his coat tails.
Murkzilla the only reason Eubanks jr has that profile is because of he’s dads name and you know it, he is not a undefeated fighter and hold the weakest belt of the lot if he was with matchroom he’s profile could be as big as a.j just because the family name is a head start to he’s profile and eddy could of built on that

One thing clear here, Hearn wants IN on the next Super Series. Hope it doesn't get diluted and drawn out, he comments about needing more space to build certain fights, I've loved the way this has been done with fights coming thick and fast. I expect Hearn will have more input next time around so expect fights to be far more stretched out.
