  • Finicky and fussy flowers… will I keep growing some of these varieties? One - #6 is a definite no. I tried another variety of #6 this year and for me it just isn’t a good cut flower. It is gorgeous in the garden & I do dry the flowers to use throughout the year. But I will not be using it anymore as a cut flower. I hope it does work for some, it just is it for me. It’s so pretty and that’s why I keep giving it another shot! 😂 All of the other flowers are gorgeous as garden flowers and I will probably continue working on different methods of conditioning them until I figure things out. I will definitely be scaling back on these varieties & focus on more dependable less finicky varieties.

Just found your channel and pretty much agree with all. My easy grow/ plant more is delphinium and my pain in the butt but still planting is Iceland poppies

LOVE verbena, but they contantly drop their flowers. New tiny flowers keep on blooming in the vase, so it looks great... but I can't stand the mess it makes.

Thank you for the information on how they bloom, I did notice some tiny flowers falling from the first cut I made. I will keep this in mind while experimenting with them this year. I love the pretty purple color of those flowers! ☀️
