Young lady, I'm so proud of you! You take care of alot as well as your family! I'm like you, I walk every morning out thru my gardens and every evening. Sometimes I even do a mid-day walk thru if it's not too hot. I usually just do a mental list of what to do but have found that now I'm older...I have to have a notebook! Your garden is doing great! I wish I could grow onions like you do. I started some from seed this year and they looked great and when I transplanted them outside I lost all but 2. I guess I'll just buy sets from now on to set out. I have been busy dehydrating eggs already and that's went well. Like you, when I planted my garden, I prayed and told God it was up to Him to give it the increase and my hope and trust is in Him! He always provides! God bless you and your family hun!
Thank you. ❤️❤️ I haven’t successfully grown onions from seed yet. I order starts from Dixondale Farms. They’ve worked great for me! I pray you have a lovely week coming up! 🤗
Are you referring to onion tops or garlic scapes? I just want to make sure I don't tell you the wrong thing lol! I don't cut back onions ever, but I do cut off garlic scapes when they shoot out so that the plant will put more energy into bulbing instead of sending out scapes.
Here’s our fire ant video, showing what I do: ua-cam.com/video/BuzvAIaarNk/v-deo.htmlsi=7WT0mbtcPKcUzNTU Our pest control video will be published next week mostly likely!
I wanted to tell you thank you, thank you for recommending the captain Jack dead bud for fire ants....it's working. I want to grow some collards. Those bundles in the store are hit & miss. I want to grow pinto beans as well. Thank you so much for all the time you take explaining things. You're an excellent teacher. I live in zone 7 SE Okla. Any tips will help. Thank you.

Great tip to write what needs to be done while walking through.
Do you cut the onion scapes at some point during growth?
