We recently moved to a vacation spot near the lake south of Sulphur. The tornado that hit downtown Sulphur and this park at the end of April really did a lot of tree damage and destroyed buildings downtown.
A tornado struck downtown Sulphur and did a lot of damage to the Chickasaw National Recreation Area on April 27, 2024. There were so many large trees destroyed and damaged.

The swimming side is in good shape and the campgrounds are too come on over and visit we got it cleaned up pretty good y'all come see us
