The young fella learning all about the best part of fencing.. hard digging
Yep gotta start at the bottom
Your hair cut is exactly like my hair cut, VOOM VOOM all gone, mind you mate it's definitely a bit cold 🥶, and what a typical southern warm winter day 😴😊😊.
Great work mate extra hands sure do help, great to see the young fella having a crack and learning new skills as well fantastic programme
So enjoy watching different methods of fencing how times have changed thanks for letting us come along
Good job to get done and new fence always looks good but the bill, enough to make a man cry 😂
Awesome! Really helpful and interesting
Cool video youtube finally showed me another kiwi farmer kool
Great to see Aidan helping out and gaining experience from the expert! Win/win!
Bloody good!
You have done a lot of fencing this past year. Putting that Kingdriver post knocker to the test.
That Kinghitter post driver is some piece of equipment.
Great video overall. You an ace Box builder now. I thought it was going to be a style/bridger/walk over at first off. What a amazing post driver. Amazing gear . Thanks for sharing.
Always great working with family, especially you dad! The post driver sure beats hand digging! Take care and be safe...
They are some fine posts. There will be no shifting on them. It’s great to have your dad there to help you out. OMG you have had a hair cut. 😂😂😂😂that’s a great young man you have working with you. He should be very proud of himself, he’s not afraid of hard work. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Lovely stuff to watch sitting on my backside drinking a beer. That equipment certainly beats using a bar and a spade.
Couldn't agree more!
I still remember helping out on a family members farm many years ago when I was a teenager. Mustering cattle, branding, dehorning, castrating, fencing and wet drenching or dipping. I do not know the right term. Loved every minute of it and wish I pursued it as a career but I was set on joining the Army which I did and now I'm a disabled Veteran. Watching your videos makes me wish I chose the agricultural path. I guess thats why I chosse the Army because I love the bush.
I understand that decision. I still get my bush fix as well.
Love your videos good to hear you have the good music back
Absolutely another spectacular beautiful shooting filming footage compilation documentary countryside content video and a very interesting video to watch .. million thanks again
Nice job, with helpful company to boot.
Good progress with fence , expensive but nessary , enjoyed seeing Aden sweating up the mahi !
That King Hitter is a beast. I do up to 1000 replacement vineyard posts a year with a straight side mount model. Saves a lot of digging holes. For installing the wires on box stays , Gripples work really well with their own strainer tool. Faster and easier to install than hayes strainers. I have also used them to strain netting. Tie of the ends, pull the netting up some with chain strainers then put a line of gripples in. If you run out of bare wire nip out another vertical and take it up some more. Easy to get the netting even.
Yea we use permanent wire strainers on netting for that purpose.
10th generation dairyman music with drone footage 👌
Hi I like your video
Wicked looking fence . . . great content. Cheers.
🐨👍
Fence looks great mate 👌
I'd really like to see a close up of the fencing knots you use mate.
Will do.
Might pay to chuck some oil on the mast, let’s the monkey slide bit easier and makes it quieter. That’s what we do do our rammers.
Yea I have done but it needs some more
you are looking a bit dry, hows the feed budget looking for winter? Bought grass seed from a guy in Rakia and he's had 25mm of rain since New Year.
We are not too bad. Just had another 25ml so things are looking up
when Gallagher is offering virtual fencing
Don't know if they will.
@@kiwifarmernz be game changer if it works
When you do the hotwire is it the same wire as the rest of the fence but insulated, or a different type of wire?
For this fence it is normal 12.5 gauge wire. If it was a main leed out I would use aluminium coated 12.5 gauge.
sounds like you've got a hyd. valve cooking off
Yea could do.
$3000, well, it's got to be done, but maintenance isn't cheap.
That TePari crush looks like the bomb. I watch a guy in Scotland, Crawford's Farm, and his TePari crush looks much more user friendly and durable than the green crushes every other YouFarmer seems to be using. Much better thought out and better access for stock for treatment.
