I remember when Memphis was a laughing stock in football! They've done a really good job of raising the floor for that program and raising the standard to where it's bowl or bust. Too much talent in TN, MS, AL, AR, etc for the Tigers to not be relevant in gridiron.

Power 5 schools are supposed to have facilities like that … where else is all that money they get supposed to go to. Memphis is a great school that does ALOT with very little given to them. Imagine what’d they’d look like with Power 5 money !!!! Great insight into the Memphis program. Love it.
the key word was "some" power five schools. and keep a humble spirit, Florida State would not be the football program it is today without Mike Norvell coaching at Memphis. that's just the facts of programs getting better for coaches to move up to the next conference.

Mike Norvell had nothing to do with new stadium 🏟 renovations or the new football facility. You had Florida built there new football facility and Clemson. It was time for Florida State to get in and start building to complete in today's college football. Remember Willie Targget donated 1million dollars for the new football facility. So, Mike Norvell had nothing to do with something where the foundation was already laid. PERIOD. Also Jimbo Fisher won a National Park in 2013. When Mike Norvell win a National Championship then we can a conversation. PERIOD.
