My state has this law
(i) A person is justified in using reasonable force against a public servant if the person reasonably believes the force is necessary to:
(1) protect the person or a third person from what the person reasonably believes to be the imminent use of unlawful force;

(3) prevent or terminate the public servant’s unlawful trespass on or criminal interference with property lawfully in the person’s possession, lawfully in possession of a member of the person’s immediate family, or belonging to a person whose property the person has authority to protect

@Cerus98 well local laws are different depending on where you live. You are correct that police can enter without a warrant. Screaming isn't one but yelling for help gives them probable cause, chasing a suspect is probable cause, what they did was illegal what is funny is that even if they found something illegal it couldn't be used as evidence as anything found would fall under illegal search. Entering without a warrant is only if the officer can prove a immediate clear and present to danger someone. For example yelling for help, they see blood, gun shots.

I lost my job back in August because someone that I worked with said that I was threatening a mass shooting. I had worked for this company for over 15 years. They fired me on my day off, didn't even talked to me to see if it was true. I was meet outside by the store manager, a co-manager and 2 Ft. Smith police officers. The company couldn't provided the evidence to support the termination of my employment. Doing what I can to get a lawyer. The company--Wal-Mart.
Working for Wallyworld was your first mistake. Why people keep supporting that company is beyond my comprehension. They are a manifestation of everything that plagues the US.
That's right I worked for Walmart 10 yrs ago and I got fired because of my 2nd amendment rights and they had a Norfolk Police escort me off property

@@pf8610 Even then I will be ready to vote NO on that ballot if it ever shows up. I went to a gun range recently and met a guy who had a hunting rifle that was semiautomatic with very small caliber bullets. And I'm talking a dedicated hunting rifle, not a general purpose rifle like my Ruger Mini-14. I forgot to ask what make and model it was, but it stored way more than 10 rounds along the length of a tube underneath the barrel and was fed semiautomatically to the chamber like a shotgun. Yes, there is such a thing as a semiauto shotgun. Again this was a dedicated hunting rifle that used bullets that were smaller than the .223 Rem.
This initiative would effectively label that HUNTING rifle as an assault weapon.
