I LOVE being a part of communities like this because the idea that our support directly turns into content is great. Oh my gosh Rachel you didn't just buy a house, you bought a HOME!!! All the land and "structures" that the prior family built along with the love and memories in the actual house as well....it's so amazing that you appreciate EVERYTHING! This made my heart so happy for you! I am old enough to grow up with that electric can opener and the microwave, stove, oven unit. The 70's were a good time to grow up! My two favorite things on this video (other than the entire tour) were the heart door and "What are you going to do with it Paul? nothing!" 😂 Let the DIY'S and creativity begin! 🐾😎💕

I’m at a really weird stagnant almost-30-idk-what-im-doing period of my life right now (got laid off, just got around to pursuing therapy and meds and adjusting to that, can’t seem to find the strength to do anything like exercise or spend time with friends) so for now i’m glad to be inspired by you and hopefully push myself into MOTION soon. Forward, upward, trusting the process.

We had a sink n toilet plumbed into our basement but when we wanted to add a tub we had to build it on a platform for the plumbing. unless twenty thousand$$$ in jack hammering and piping under cement slab 😬😬😬 no no no ! 😂

It's been a while since I've watched your UA-cam videos but I am so happy for you purchasing your home with your five acres with the dog, your young ladies and your friends are there to help you. All that you have had to endure over the years has led you to this point. You had to grow up, deal with other people's BS and complaints and whines WHEN you lived with them, but now you look so happy and less stressed. Rachel even let your hair down your skin is tanned, you don't look stressed. I am so freaking happy for you that you found a permanent place and hope that all your projects in the future will be just great like they have been when I had been watching previously, on how to do certain builds, for a lady tiny in form not height because you have that, with such energy to lift, remove, restructure, cabinets, doors, shelves, closets, toliets, you even did electrical work, you probably did have some help that we didn't see. I’ll be starting over in another state soon with basically no furniture and it’s just nice to see someone else sharing the process!! So many people just show you the final product when that’s not the realistic process. So happy for you and your new chapter!
You should do a permaculture landscape on your backyard! If you plant Joshua tree natives you don't have to worry about keeping them alive as much.

The “REALEST” BADDEST UA-cam house tour I’ve ever seen. Dog ranch ✅ jacuzzi✅dart throwing station ✅ ax wall✅ archery ✅ bar✅ water feature✅. You really did the ultimate grown up version of show and tell and I’m LOVING IT. I also love seeing how much you love it in its natural state. I think we get so caught up looking like perfect home aesthetic adults we forget we’re just big kids and wanna have fun without all the rules and we don’t need the fancy shit to have fun ❤️

We live up the hill in Idyllwild and heat our whole house with our wood burning stove! It seriously pays to upgrade to a new, efficient stove (that doesnt smoke). they make super nice looking ones now, too.
