We really want them to appreciate everything they receive, find new ways to socialize and communicate and be grateful for this experience because for us this is a dream come true and they get to come along for the ride! We tell them every day that they need to "get comfortable with being uncomfortable" and try to get them to grasp the nuances of being a guest in another culture. To us, that is what it is all about! hmmm that is a good question... I think that teaching at home in Canada has become highly politicized so that carries its own challenges and can be very draining. Teaching our kids is challenging in its own way but I believe it's because I feel very responsible to keep them on track with our Ontario curriculum at home since, as of now, the plan is for them to rejoin next fall. We also want to do a lot and see everything but school sometimes gets in the way so it is a balancing act and requires a lot of planning. I think it was just a dance number ~ their performance talents are limited haha! Thanks for your comment and for watching our journey we appreciate it☺️
