Been telling ppl alpha foxtrot la are good guns. And they are your own 1911 parts company for most ur high end parts. Now they started making their own handguns. (The metal Glock clone is trash) but the other 1911 have potential. But the Romulus 🤯🤯🤯 can’t wait to get me one . They was 1200 on guns a few weeks ago
Have been wanting to get one for a bit but hadn’t seen much on it. This was exact setup I want too 5inch comped. Now I feel much better about purchasing!

For the average street price of 1600 beans, it's a good value. I wish it had RMR footprint. I put EPS 6moa green.. does great. Grip safety was stiff , I will pin it or swap grip... Comp does not have a big single expansion chamber like XC or Apache. It has 3 ports .. I think it would be a bit better with more gas escaping.. did 3 rd test today and another 200 rounds no issue.. 500 rounds total so far with 100% reliability..
Let's see that comparison!! I'm interested in that Romulus!!! Already getting the XP pro now I want an affordable 5 inch comp gun that has everything, looks sweet, i want to see how that comp works.
When’s the next video? Would love to learn more and see some comparisons. Going against the Watchtower kinda makes it tough to compare to much less but I feel price wise this is Prodigy comp level and then maybe Platypus but they don’t have a comp , but maybe a P or BUL TAC Pro. Ironically, the Sig Reserve is similar with the barrel and comp along with being DLC coated. I didn’t think it shot very well but for 3x the price, could be a fun comparison. Keep up the great work!
Bul Armory has their new 5’ tac comp coming out next year and they have the barrel and comp machined out of one piece like Staccato but theirs also has ports. Just fyi.
I've watched some reviews of this and everyone seems to like it overall. I like to see you shoot it stock before you dazzle it up some or mess with the eternals. Now gotta decide if I want Romulus, Bul Armory EDC Pro or XP Pro. Ready to see ya put it through it's paces.

As a business owner that runs mainly with email comms il say phone conversations aren’t alway easy to do with keeping our work rolling so I cut companies slack on calls aslong as they help somehow but I get your point.
I just got the 5inch comp. I’ll be ordering the 4.25 in the spring I think and you’ll be getting that one to play around with. Ports and comps and the works
when I purchased the Alpha Foxtrot S15 I had such high hopes, but I was quickly let down by the terrible ergos. Between the grip safety and the very uncomfortable frame safety the gun pinches in all the wrong places. Is it accurate, sure, I mean they all are for the most part. Is it the right size for a carry DS 1911 definitely.... BUT, do I want to shoot it... NO. The quality, fit and finish are what you would expect from a budget DS 1911, not great but not bad either, and the value would be there if it were remotely comfortable to shoot, which again.... it isn't. This new gun might be great but I have a hard time buying from any company that I have had a bad experience with.

I’m referring to things that matter internals ignition wise neither one of mine are mim if a slide stop or saftey is mim that doesn’t concern me. Mim isn’t bad if used in appropriate ways is how I look at it

I have a 5" model and it has the Dawson toolless guide rod. It works perfectly. It also has Atlas thumb safeties and the Infinity ignition kit with Red Dirt trigger. I have 2k in the gun and it's on the level of 4 thousand dollar guns easy.

@@SkipsGunz the Tri ported comp does actually help ..the combination of a 4.25 slide with the comp out front does help vs a non comp or non ported alternative.. Yes V ports are better but this is not bad.. I have some upgrades to further improve performance.. Romulus Comp is still a good value and performer.
You didnt mention anything about if it was tuned nice out of the box. Usually you mention you did tune it as well. I guess this must have been nice out of the box to the point you did almost nothing to it. Are they going to make this in 4.25" with comp? Then that gun would be 💯🔥🔥🔥 perfect EDC for the new 2011 junkies out there and all the new posers we got in the 1911/2011 community. I’m sure a gun with those specs would sell like CRAZY 🤪 a mini Pitviper without the crazy Hollywood price tag. You can get the new Prodigy Comp for 1,200 bucks, you should be able to buy a mini pitviper for under 2k these days

I absolutely love my Rom Comp. It comes with 1 MBX mag. More can be ordered directly from MBX. Thats what I did.

I have 2 SIG X5 legends and the compact version. I think I'm going to sell all three and go get either the Romulus in 4.25" or the GP Arms Patriot.

Their customer service has a lot of room for improvement. Had their S15 initially. Not bad but their inability to pick up the phone is a huge turnoff.

It’s screwed on and then 2 set screws idk 🤷 if it’s legal there that’s probably better to ask a local ffl to be sure.

That’s a tall order my friend to get the materials on my builds is $2500 or more so no coatings or time invested paid I can’t see that happen
Yeah, 4.25" is about my limit for carry and external extractor, slim mags, and a comp would be my ideal as well.
