Some of them do and I've had it happen to me before. They usually do that to kick the knight from f6 and if you just develop instead of playing Nd4, d5 (the only move), you're already lost.
the thing is those who usually use scholars mate will never bring the queen back to the original position, but keep placing it on other squares for attacking another region of the chess board

This video is targeted at the VERY SMALL audience of 600 elo players (who are the only ones who routinely encounter scholar's mate), but are also capable of memorizing 12 moves of theory...
I get tons of scholars mate players if I dip into 850-1000 elo. A lot of the moves here come naturally to them because they're singularly focused on one single outcome. The g pawn move is kind of a stretch though because it involves moving a piece that isn't either the bishop or the queen.
Knight to h 3 when he moves the bishop because your defending that pawn where they are threatening mate, and it’s difficult for the opponent to take the knight, long enough for you to get there queen away
Someone tried to Scholar me once. I went Knight to H6. It protects the F pawn, and stops any attack from the Queen. Say bishop takes the F7 Pawn. You take with the knight. The queen can't go to H7, the Rook guards it, and if the queen takes the Knight after the bishop gets taken on F7, the king caps the Queen. Sure you give up castling, but they're down 12 pts to your 3.

Wait till the opponent plays a different move
Then you just play normal chess against someone with no developpement and a queen trapped

That's why you should understand moves instead of memorising them.

I don't think i've ever seen anyone playing pawn to g4
50% of people tryna scholar mate me did that 😂😂
They move e3 instead

Yup but some people are deranged

0:23 Black could just move Queen to C6, to accomplish the same Defense of C7; without any risk of being Pinned.
Nelson ain't getting off with this one
True
What if they play bishop takes d5 instead of the pawn
Knight takes bishop, pawn takes knight, queen takes pawn
Thanks helped a lot
Thank you bro I literally was hoping for someone to explain this
whats the background track??
Super useful! I didn’t know it could backfire so badly 😂
I watch all these videos only to forget the 2nd move 😢
Brilliant.
The fun of even beginner’s chess.
I am not a beginner but I found it difficult to initially refute the scholar’s mate.
And what if they play c3 instead of the g4?
In the fork, what if they take the knight instead of the bishop
You take the queen because it's pinned
U take queen. Trading a bishop and a knight for a queen is still a 3 point positive trade
give the same check with queen and take the queen with bishop
Queen 🤑🤑
@@MohamedRedaBokhabrine sorry i didnt notice that lol. No wonder why im 600 🤣
If after you play Ne4!! if White plays fxe4 you play Qh4+ and Bxd1 winning the white queen for those wondering
I remember getting this same position, even same moves and same checkmate
Just do G8-H6. If he attacks, take with this knight and, if he retakes, just take with the king.
bro really said "how the tables have turned"
Why does this look like a possible traxler counterattack mate
My opponent played Nc3 instead of g4, though i punished him 😂😎
Never saw that a scholar’s mate line with g4 and the counter for that. Thanks for the info
Wat if he takes knicht on e4?
Amazing Content that I have been Looking for. Would be Really Great if you could Do more Videos on this (Common Attacks and How to Reply)
After the opponent plays Bishop C4 you can play knight H6
If only i remembered this in a game
Knight to h 3 when he moves the bishop because your defending that pawn where they are threatening mate, and it’s difficult for the opponent to take the knight, long enough for you to get there queen away
OMG this just made my day. Thank you
It was 10min rapid, Oponent played g4 and I checkmated him with 9:30min remaining. It felt great, thanks for the uno revers card.
What if white takes the horse?
Queen is pinned
Thanks sir 😊
Thank you man!!!

How to defend against Scholar's Mate: play Scholar's Mate
Him: You are locked in here with me
(After a while)
Me: NO, YOU ARE LOCKED IN HERE WITH ME 😂
No knight g3 is better since you can protect both scholars mates
If it's Nelson, Bc5, Qxe5+, Qe7, Qxg2, Qh4, Qxh1, Qxf2+, Kd1 (forced), Qg1# checkmate
I still get games where they try a scholars mate. I’m 1200-1300 rated and same with them. I like knight h6 sometimes but depends on the position.
What if he takes the knight with the pawn
The pawn is pin by bishop
the chance of the opponent playing G4 is close to nil
Bishop to d5 to take the pawn changes everything tho
my opponent are so noob they wont play bishop like that
That's not Scholar's Mate, though it is mate with a defended queen.
Having whit play pawn c3 would be way more useful
But what if he starts e3 and I can't put my horse there.
U can stop this just by playing knight h6😂😂😂😂😂
Nobody placed the knight at the edge of the board cuz it will be useless
after Nh6 they have d4 exd4 Bxh6 and your in big trouble with a knight down
or just queen f6
The problem is my opponent doesn't think like that he don't go to stop me instead he attacks 😂
What about Qd3 instead of fully going back
That was beautiful
A guy tried that with me but i moved the queen to another square,in the end, i won by resignation. And i never saw this video before
What if they take the knight instead of bishop with their pawn? The checkmate won't work then
Someone tried to Scholar me once. I went Knight to H6. It protects the F pawn, and stops any attack from the Queen. Say bishop takes the F7 Pawn. You take with the knight. Pawn to d6, knight to h6,bishop g4 and their queen is trapped
What about the knight to the edge of the board defending checkmate?
Dude is teaching hope chess
But what happened if the white pawn captures the knight and not the bishop
I only know until knight e6, finally know the intention of the defense
I was searching for it frm 10 days vd came to me randomly ❤❤❤😢 now j can beat nelson
Ive played alot of games with people that do this, but havnt gained enough logic to remember this lol
It's a charm for low Elo players 🎉
i sometimes pulled up knight to h6 or knight to a3 to bait it sometimes work
Yeah until white decides to take the knight instead of the bishop…
But then they lose a queen for a bishop. You may not get mate right away but it's very likely with the King trapped and unable to castle.
@@ManofMuse If you play Qh4+ before taking the queen you don't even lose the bishop
I've played with an AI who always does this and mofo pisses me off everytime
But most of the people after nf3 just move d3. And all plan is gone 😢
There are a bunch of lines just like this in the book The Wayward Queen: The Final Word.
Karma Op😂😂
Thank you
The best move as white would be ne3 not push a pawn
Queen to E7 and enjoy the misplaced queen of white
Thanks
Very good
walking into a minor fork is mad gonads
What if he has accepted knight instead of bishop
Who the poen takes the night 😅
Good play!
what do you mean
if you meant e5, the pawn is protected by the knight on c6. Therefore if you take on e5 white just loses the queen for nothing
Beginners favourite opening 😂
i know i'm late, but what if instead of pulling their queen back they play qd3?
Nice video
The blunder here is g4
most of the time the is just sliding to d3 to protect the c2
