I love how onstage JDT is super eloquent and well-spoken and then backstage he's like "I like hands on my body" and "you're gonna love this shit" like JDT is such a mood.
I heartily recommend anyone and everyone to see this production. It is simply and spectacularly accomplished vocally and choreographically. Ms Mendez deserves her Tony a hundredfold and Mr Henry was simply robbed. One may not see a revival of this classic for another twenty + years, so if you have an opportunity, don't miss it.
