@@pajajaska Friend, I just asked what speed can be squeezed out of this engine on a 20-inch diameter wheel, why are you asking me about the controller and everything else, I haven't bought anything yet, will the qs90 be able to reach speeds of 80-90 km/h on the road?, just tell me that
@@ALEXPRO-w9k ok, relax. I was asking that because then I would know how much power you can feed the qs90, because the top speed depends on that. If you have right gearing you can reach the 80-90kmh. But I don't know how long the motor will last on those speeds before it overheats
don't remember exact number but about 135A battery amps. qs90 motor is rated 1kw , and the controller can put out about 10kw. Motor can handle the 10kw short peaks, but it can't handle continuous power that much
@@YNRSuperBikers it depends on alot of things. But many motors can take alot of more peak power than their continuous rated power. If I pushed qs90 motor continuous 10kw it would burn fast
Moro! Joo ton jatkuvaksi tehonkestoksi on ilmoitettu 1kw, mutta kyllä se hetkellisiä 10kw piikkejä on kestänyt (toistaiseksi). Ei ainakaan vielä ole moottori palanut. Joku 5kw piikkiteho olis ehkä sopivampi tälle moottorille. Mikä 2.2kw moottori sulla on ja millasessa pyörässä?
Bm1424zxf suoravetona ostin Pekan sähkökiiturista, tulee samanlainen ohjain mikä sulla. Pyöränä toimii venäläinen vespa kopio, tula turist. Akkuna on 72v 50ah
Thanks! At the current gearing top speed is only little over 50kmh. But with taller gearing it would go 80-100kmh. But I like torque more than top speed so thats good gearing for me
@@Emaster.85 Thanks. qs90 is good motor for small bikes. I recommend you to have good battery and controller so you can get all potential of that motor. I live in Finland and im 21. what about you?
I have been running it with 10kW for while and I still havent burned it. Of course it overheats pretty fast if I ride full throttle on soft sand. You need to test the motor by hand that its not overheating too much. And I think that having low gearing helps that it does not heat up so fast. I have top speed only little over 50kmh. But 3000w for this motor should not be a problem
I just put a QS90 on an old moped (Crescent 1175 frame), running it on BMW E330 60v packs paired with a Fardriver ND72360 and man are these motors performing above expectations! Even with 19" wheels and 14:60 gearing it'll occasionally loose grip on asphalt when punching it.. Hardly gets warm when riding like a somewhat sane person, would recommend limiting peak output to around 7kW to keep it healty. I agree with @pajajaska1222 , 3kW continous is not an issue, it stays luke warm at that output.
Sweet bike!
Thanks!
I think you could try and add a cvt to this as you have a bit of space. Would make this bike very fast.
That would be cool! Top speed would increase alot
Kyllä ajelet tutuissa paikoissa ja hyvää kontsaa teet👍
kiitoksia!
Tell me, what speed can be achieved on this engine with 20-inch wheels?, with a standard 14-tooth drive sprocket?
