Ive had several annoying leaks on the KZ since Ive had it and decided it was finally time to take care of them. My friend drew came over to lend me a hand and guide me through the process too so I didnt mess anything up.

i was just gifted a 1980 kz250 d1 basket case with the top end apart got a service manual on the way how hard was putting the timing gear back on the cam shaft in the correct orientation previous owner did not mark the cam or gear with paint pen or any thing? great video btw. i will be subscribing and binge watching lol
Glad you found the channel! The timing wasnt too hard. It was a challenge though. Was much easier having a second pair of hands helping me. As far as missing the markings I say good luck.... one of the markings is an arrow and that should be etched into the metal. Good luck on your build!

Hey man, I have the same model and year bike, except mine is an LTD, I was curious on if you replaced the Carb with an aftermarket one and know which one you used.
I'm using the stock carb but I switched to a pod filter so it's been rejetted and deep cleaned. I had picked up an after market mikuini carb but ended up not using it.
Trying to time a Kz200. Same process? I saw the kz200 on the timing sprocket, just wondering where arhat is located. Any help would be appreciated.

Haha! I'm pretty sure I got mine from motorcyclesuperstore.com but it's been a while. The front tire is a golden boy trail tire sr-244 size 3.50 and the rear tire is a Bridgestone trail wing 40 size 120/90-16

1984no idont have manual that motorcycle
