Damn, Samantha is so playful in this clip! Excellent guitar......fabulous voice......smoking sexuality! And , as always - killer band! Go-Go Ray and Christopher Alexander - TIGHT rhythm section!
@@marcusteblano6376 100 % agree. Honestly, I don't go for what she is doing the last few years. I much prefer what she used to play...she and this band were so good playing blues rock! I know you can get bored and want to stretch out musically, but the newer stuff doesn't resonate with me at all. How it goes being a musician...
Totalement captivante!!! Elle occupe l'espace sonore par la voix et la musique en ne laissant pas une seconde non contrôlée. Un véritable pouvoir sur le temps et l'espace scénique.
Back when I was a 'youngster' (my mid-50s...LOL), this was my Saturday night watering hole. I LOVED this place- saw some GREAT performances here~ shame when they closed :- (
@@PilsburyKC Can't say I did- I was always paranoid of having 'one too many'; I was with the fire dept. in those days & didn't want to imperil my job. I sure wanted to, though- especially Knucklehead's. They've had some great acts come through over the years! So, how 'bout you?
@@redcaddiedaddie Knuckleheads is my favorite as you can catch the musicians on the way up or on the way down. It's a place where you feel at home. I wouldn't tell her that she's playing rock n roll when she is actually playing blues -- give her a break , her dad took her to all the blues clubs in Kansas City while she was growing up -- and thus far Samantha has won 2 huge blues awards -- This Is The Blues
You want to see/hear the person who is going to revitalize blues rock, much as Steve Ray Vaughn did in the 80's, check out Ally Venable. Phenomenal, already, at 19.
Now - come on. I love Samantha. She's a great blues artist - however Cream's version is a long way ahead of this. Larkin Poe's version is also pretty good
Everything Sam touches turns to utter perfection, but this isn't the old Howlin' Wolf version of "Rollin' and Tumblin.' (However I love it, and I'll take it!!)
I like the earlier Sam every bit as much as later. And I enjoy the the Go-Go Ray and Chris Alexander trio as much as the current multi-piece band. Where did you ever get that vocal virtuosity Samantha? I always like your arrangements and the overall sound, but the vocals are out of this world.
Samantha has changed her style quite a bit since this video was taken. She has veered somewhat into country, R&B, and "rockabilly" for lack of a better word. Her band has gotten a lot larger, with the addition of a horn section. That being said, I saw her this past weekend in St Petersburg, FL, and in some ways, she is better than ever. She certainly can't be accused of being stagnant.
Different. Samantha has broadened her genres - more like Americana now - She's a professional and wants to develop a broader audience. Can't blame her. I'm a blues lover so I like the original band too. However I bought Chills and fever. Great CD
@@allanbriggs9007 It was her early sound that attracted me as well but since commercial radio ignores so many great groups, they have to do whatever they can to keep going.
they say an artist needs to put in 10,000 hours to master their craft. The Beatles did it in Hamburg Germany. There is no record of it left. Here we have a record of Samantha mastering her craft from the begininning
The old Trouser Mouse was very dark and I don't have a high end camera. Sadly, the newer Trouser Mouse close a few years ago, as Brad brought in many good national bands.
She has amazing talent ! Hold your tongues boys, it is not all about sexuality....SHE fucking is IT! True BLUE talent. If she were a man would you be drooling all over your selves -sexuality ?, her legs and such? Hell NO! You would be saying WHAT A FUCKING AWESOME TALENT!!!!!! RESPECT and put it back in your pockets or pants lol...just enjoy the talent.
This Sami Fish at her best. Long live this chick and may she never slow down.
Just can't get enough of this woman. A true gem amongst blueswomen. Thanks for posting.
Peace.

Takes my breath away. So effing goodl!!
Played Rollin and Tumblin by Canned Heat & UA-cam suggested this. Wow Samantha you just picked up a new fan. Nice job kid.

Yeah, I was thinking she was so much more relaxed and having more fun in those early days. Now it feels more like she's doing her job.

Have heard Sam play this song live many times, this is the best- creative, playful and full of energy. Thanks for sharing.
I'm glad she is getting more popular but the other side of that is she rarely plays KC area anymore.
I Feel Your Pain, BUT, She has been to PHX ONCE!! Of Course , I was there, brought her a Chiefs hat..:) But WE need her BACK, ASAP!! LOL..
Samantha Fish - I'm so in love with her.Her music is Great ! Best new performer ! Jammin guitar player !
Thanks You Tube or I never would have known of Samantha Fish. She is smokin!
Absolutely an incredible musician and would love to catch her over here in England. Keep it up Sam 👍😙
You missed it. She was over there in May.
Amazing. She's got such soul and feeling!
Always entertaining, what an artist.

This girls' play'in gives me a religious experience. Rock on Samatha!
One of my fave Sam vids! Rock on girl

On second thought, maybe you could shred me some more of that!

one of the three female top guitarists with Ana Popovic and Erya Lytinen
