Lawn Mower runs but why won't it Restart?

The engine runs but once it warms up, it won't restart until it cools down. Have you had this happen to your mower?

Had the same problem with my John Deere rider after I mowed my yard it wouldn't start till it cooled off , bad coil .......

I have a toro
That doesn’t want to start when hot but it’s not a carb
It seems to loose compression when hot
I am thinking valves specifically exhaust valve

Can’t use pump gas without adding Stabil at time of purchase.

Nice taught me something here because I had this symptom twice but it was completly different reason. The thermostat not moving and leaving the choke on all the time.
