How we diagnose colon cancer
Colonoscopy and biopsy : Colonoscopy is done under sedation, biopsy is taken to confirm the diagnosis and is a safe test. Biopsied sample is seen under the microscope to confirm the diagnosis

Sir my brother diagnosed with AML in Jan 2023. He has completed 4 cycle of Chemotherapy Induction 7+3 (cytarabine & Daunorubicin) and Consolidation (High Dose Arasid ). Initially before diagnosis and during chemo he was having bleeding problem in motion but as soon as chemo was completed Bleeding stopped. Doctor said earlier it be due to low platelets. Now suddenly when our treatment for AML was completing he advised to go for colonoscopy. He is saying we have seen a tumor. However OBT test were negative. Kindly suggest
