I certainly am not suggesting I’d impress Elon but I’ve always interviewed well in my career in banking. I always gave my trajectory from a bank teller to a bank manager. Then I also go into the details of challenges and how I overcame them. Most importantly I would present myself in interviews reflecting the technique I used in presenting myself to potential banking clients. If the bank is looking to hire you for sales then the best way for them to envision how you are in sales is to use your personal sales technique in your interview. Over a decade in sales and I had like a dozen stocked blurbs I’d wedge in to most sales presentations. I’d just wedge those into interviews. For example, I’d tell potential clients at the beginning of a meeting that not every business is the right fit for our bank and that our bank is not the right fit for every business. In my interviews I’d say something similar like I need to make sure the bank is the right fit for me as much as the bank is making sure I’m the right fit for them. Yes Solving any problem the person knows every details of it That is experience the person has learned which is most important because he or she knows the challenges and knows to trust oneself and work in team He is extraordinary
Turns into Denzel from training day. "Tell me a story"
Points a gun at your head and makes you smoke pcp lol
Precisely…I always ask people question to determine whether should i believe them afterward or put them into a blacklist of people that I should wary about 👀
Good question. I always ask a version of that myself and listen for the details.
This mans thinking is Genius💖💃💯
I mean…. He’s a genius
… to a coconut, maybe.
@@kennethguthrie180 everyone so quick to be so negative 🙃
@@MLeigh-es6jc, not really, just realistic. You truly believe that all of this comes from the heart and is *not* some pre-planned PR stunt to beef up his image? Like, you *really* believe that he is *not* like all of his other corporate puppet friends?

I'd crumble in that interview lol.

The problems I solved probably won't get me hired at Tesla 😶
That's why you r ngmi
The most problems i had solved are the ones made by my own so yeah lol
Thats a great thought. I believe im living my life backwards. At my age,I can do more than many and im at retirement age ,but just started living for myself. I took extreme care of illness in my family. ❤
Gut feel, my Man (:
Almost all you need to know about high performance and character when building a team!
TRUE!!!

Yes thats enough when in the middle of building a team of particle physicists
“Ok.. so I woke up, I was the lowest weight I’ve ever been and I was butt naked…”
Bro if I got to pour out my soul in front of Musk, I would go all out. That would be the opportunity of a lifetime for me.
I would LOVE to be asked both questions. I will have to write it down for people to learn from and save lives and suffering.
Elon musk🚀 from a fly over state currently.
Elon musk🚀 Wyoming where the water is so hot the town is named after it.
@@AnandaSea you're so welcome my friend, it's really a pleasure to have you here
@@AnandaSea what's your name If I may know more about you.
He has a very practical and real world approach to interviewing someone.
I love elon, he's like my brother, I can't explain the feeling haha
Yeah, I think I get it. He's very relatable...Like even though he's highly intelligent, he's really good at communicating his ideas, too.
I think he's probably very empathetic as well. If I had to guess, he's good with people, and that's part of what you're picking up on... Idk, just a thought. 🤷🏼
@@whitetigr8337 Yeah he genuinely cares about people, i feel the same. Another jedi on the path.
Imagine if an introvert is interviewed by elon😭
😯😯WOW I'VE NEVER TAUGHT T THAT WAY,ALL THE TIME I WANT TO KEARN SOMETHING NEW I LISTEN TO "ELON"!!
There asking this in case the oil runs out.
No, they are studying the guy that came to put Gas Stations out of business 😩😩😒
Less than 1% of Dubais economy relies on oil.
This is the best clip on the internet. The most appropriate question thrown to a giant brain of ideas.
Man.. How easily he exposes them... Really nice thought
Yup, agree and don't know why I always use these questions while helping the HR doing the interviews. Thank you.
"Helping" them by being an overbearing ass while hiring low level employees. Keep telling yourself that.
Elon: "Tell me the story of your life..."
Me: "I've got volumes 1-10 right here, Elon. Let me know when your done with those and I'll give you the rest."
Lol
Me wanting to work with Elon.
Also me: my story begins with cheese I love cheese
😂😂😂
How does cheese solves your problems in life? That's the next question he'd ask 😆🤣
Anyone else watch his eyes go back and forth rhythmically?
If I saw this video ten years earlier I would have sent you my resume. But honestly in that time I was not ready having a career in USA or other continents. I continue to admire your humanity and to have so much joy for those who caught and will catch your attention to work with you and to share together with you the success ❤
I absolutely love Elon Musk, I work in a field where everyone is always trying to steal credit but when push comes to shove they have no idea what they’re talking about
You do realize Elon is basically the master of stealing credit, right?
His interview questions answers all the questions that an interviewer wants or needa
Most of my life has been spent enjoying the ability to learn how to improve my abilities...Because I love my work, problems have to be solved quickly, intelligently, creatively, and with unwavering dedication. Problems are not our enemy, problems are the root source of improvement.
So True and brilliant, they get stuck in the details... 😁❣😁
This interviewing process I would imagine he used when choosing friendships and girlfriends. I’m going to try it with the next man I meet on the dating site I belong to. 🤔🤓☺️
That is really a good question. Easily to ask but hard to answer if you pretended you know.
Great point!! It's so easy to write a bunch of BS on a CV but you can't fake a problem you (didn't) solved!
If I got asked that during an interview...I'd be like sigh, Jesus, my life? C'mon man
Damn that's a nice suit.
If I could work for this man ...
He's nailed it. People who are challenged but learned from those challenges are people who take risk, accept loss but can regroup, pivot and move forward rather than staying stuck languishing.
These oil bilionaires staring at him like i wanna be like him when i grow up
Exactly......they're trying to figure it out 🙄
I would love to have this opportunity
Oil producers are worried about A Man from South Africa that came to put the Oil legacy in jeopardy 😩😌☺️👌🏽
Uae is still progressive than other oil countries they are investing everywhere etc!!!
True about CA. But you can’t sell Tesla in Texas too. Politicians are doing what good to keep their position.
Elon is a real engineer. This is a typical question for checking if one is hands-on or not.
It’s Not like everyone has had problems they can discuss at an interview.
If they haven’t solved problems then they aren’t qualified to work a high skill job like that lol?
it means their ass never stepped of out their comfort zone
If you're not looking for problems to solve on your own time, then you're not who they're looking for.
The threshing floor! When the ones who talk have to ask questions! Nice answer Elon.
That's what I love about troubleshooting.. I can bang my head until I find the solution, but when I solve it, I never forget!
I'm an auto mechanic. Don't ask what problems have I've been faced with or what I did to fix the problem.
How many come backs do you have? That's all you need to know. Ethier you can fix stuff or you can't. You're Ethier educated or you're not. You Ethier understand systems or you don't.
Categorical exposure and the understanding of conflicts will get you very far in life!
My story is quite sad and unbelievable, its amazing that I am still here. Still hoping to catch a break.
Me too, Big Dave… Meeee toooo!

This is it! Beautiful
Sir. I was watching you on UA-cam and I like you, don't ask me why. May God bless you more and more.
I think those are great questions that make sure you open and honest and how you've overcome your obstacles.
Such an insightful and intelligent man.
And that's how an interview should be conducted, a manager that takes your life in to consideration is a manager you can turn to when 💩 hits the fan
Its so cool too be living in a time too watch a genius propel the world forward.
Such a genius.
The questions you choose to ask in interviews are more important than the interview itself.
Great. I need to do a few interviews tomorrow and need to hire my replacement before I switch in two months
He really knows human nature.
I was asked about problem solving recently. And I tell him I’ve stepped up too many times in absence of my director.
I can tell you what happened yesterday.
Love the colour of his tie. Seems he solves his problems and can always excel his ideas and goals for humanity by choosing those not set out to destroy it. Much love Elon. All is forgiven 💫
Lol no. Hes a bad person
Im just in awe of Elon. I wish I had one tenth of the power in his brain.
I love this guy. I’m a bit sceptical about his acquisition of Twitter but he’s so honest and human in the way he handles people around him. ”Tell me the story of your life” tells so much more about the person you’re hiring than the usual bs ”tell me about yourself?”. It’s superficial. Wish there were more bosses like Elon around. Sure he demands a lot, but what a great guy.
This summarized by the book "WHO" by Geoff Smart and Randy Street.
Yes! So true. It's that gut feeling to hire.
Hope someday to get a chance to talk to him. Learning so much from him.
Love the guy the camera cuts to. I feel I could be that guy. Just amazed and fully immersed.
That'd be kind of difficult, coz that's sheikh Hamdan, the ruler of Dubai - sheikh Mohammed's son. Bet he's probably thinking of asking Elon to open shop there & then make the biggest, fastest car or spaceship in the world or something..
When interviewing people ask: 🙇♂️
How many walkers have you killed?
How many people have you killed?
Why?
