All those hacks were awesome thanks! Especially the spray painting onto the waterslide paper & spray painting the vinyl! I would've never thought of either!
Love the vinyl hack! My hack to share, on the waterslides like the one you showed, I use a small brush and paint the image white with either acrylic paint or spray paint sprayed into a plastic cup.
Your video happened to be in my recommended feed on here. I don’t normally click on most of these videos, but I’m glad I did check this one out. Thank you for sharing. That last one for painting white vinyl will be one I will be trying out. Again thanks!
the shop you work in. I am glad the fiberglass above does not fall into your resined work!! lol. How fun. Thank you for sharing all the things you have learned along the way. Your cups are all so interesting to look at for sure. I liked you right away. You are just a kind person. thanks
Gf you are soo efficient!!! I love watching your videos ♥️ You are great at everything!! Btw I see you have your new turner loaded ♥️ Excited and patiently waiting for mine ♥️ Thank you for all your help 🥰
Wow!!! That idea of spray painting the waterslide white and sealing it is genius! I’ve been cutting weight final and placing that down on my cup and then putting the waterslide over the white image. You’re way seems a little bit easier. I knew about being able to spray paint white vinyl but I forgot I’m so glad your vireo reminded me LOL I had a customer that wanted a Louis Vuitton Cup incorporating FSU colors.(orange & blue) So I did something a little different, I cut out the vinyl using my cricut and weeded it. While it was still on the backing I used mod podge and did a glitter ombre using the colors. Once it dried I sealed it really good with a sealant. You want to make sure you seal it so the glitter doesn’t spread all over the cup when you epoxy it. Once that drys completely and you’ve checked to make sure glitter isn’t going to come off, carefully peel it off the backing. You want to be really careful when you’re removing it from the backing because you don’t want The glitter cracking and coming off the vinyl. It came out so good!
The white spray paint on the back of a clear water slide is genius!!! And I love that you can spray paint white vinyl! Do you have to seal the paint before using it? Great hacks-thank you!!!!!
I have also taking my waterslide printed WITHOUT mirroring it and placed it on white vinyl before cutting it in my cricut and then you just peel the backing off and stick it on. Works like a charm!
Here's an ''additional hint" for your hint about adding ink to white glitter to get another color. Add a few drops of 91% alcohol to the mixture and the ink will disperse throughout the glitter so much easier!
So one time I have a sugar skull water slide and I needed it to be purple. So I spray painted it purple first and then did a layer of white paint to make it show up on the black cup I was working on !!
Hey Courtney! Great video. I'm especially interested in the painted vinyl. I've thought about trying that but I was concerned that the transfer tape would pull the paint off the vinyl. Are you applying this vinyl without tape? Just curious as to how far you can go with regards to application of the painted vinyl. Thanks again! And btw...I absolutely love your cup of positivity! It was the clincher in my decision to subscribe. 🥰🥰
Hey Courtney I have a problem with getting the tumbler wraps to go all the way around the tumbler. I ordered the ones that were made for 20, 30 oz but it's not working. What am I doing wrong?
@@CourtneysCustoms I hv used the fingernail method, cutting board and scissors. I bought them from etsy thinking they were made to fit and some overlap so can I just leave it overlapped when I wrap or will that leave a seam where it does?
You can choose to mirror it and turn the bleed off in cricut design space when you go to print it. You haven’t been doing it wrong lol this is just another way that I like to do it😊
By chance, is it possible to sublimate onto glitter. I was on a site that said glitter was polyester and didn’t know if it was even possible. I’m a newbie, messed up at least 7 tumblers in the last two weeks trying for perfect sublimation. Also, do you have any videos where you have sublimated ( instead of adding a waterslide) a cup and added glitter and epoxy? I didn’t know if epoxy could be used on sublimation. I just found your video today, btw and they’re very helpful!
Hi!! So to sublimate you need specially coated sublimation tumblers. You can find them on pretty much every site that sells stainless steel tumblers. Some sites do offer sublimation tumblers that are already glittery, but they still have that special coating over them. I messed up a lot when I started doing them too. Sublimation tumblers do not require epoxy, but the ones I had messed up I did fix them with glitter and epoxy them. Hope this helps💜
So with the waterslides, do I have to mirror my image before spray painting it white? Because I'm having this issue right now, but my image isn't mirrored, I'm worried that if I paint it how it is it will cover my image. Please help!

I have literally educated myself thru your videos! Thank you so much all your tips and advice!! Youre the best!
Aww thank you so much !!💜
if you spraypaint the vinyl how long to let dry and when you put your tranfer tape does the paint come off
Oh my goodness thank you for the tips!! The lid one was driving me crazy but now I know I gotta twist!! 🤗

Courtney ~ what method did you use on the cup that you showed the water slide hack on?
ua-cam.com/video/6H0MxnyF5d8/v-deo.html
When doing the white vinyl with your own color do you have to seal it?
I would if you plan on using transfer tape. When I apply those cheetah spots to a cup I’ll just do them one by one with my pick lol
Love the hacks! Did you apply the glitter to the pastel beach tumbler with mod lodge?
Thanks !! And yes I did
What color is the light blue on the swirl tumbler also my nephew races and he’s #90
for the waterslide can you spray paint it with other colors??
So one time I have a sugar skull water slide and I needed it to be purple. So I spray painted it purple first and then did a layer of white paint to make it show up on the black cup I was working on !!
Hi can you tell me how to get the lines straight on a chevron pattern I have tried two and it is horrible
What if I purchased a clear water slide. Can I do the same as your video?
When you print the waterslide do you still mirror the image?
Yes
When you do mirror image on your water slide do you still need to seal it with clear spray paint so the ink doesn't smear?
Yes
Hey Courtney! Great video.

I plan to place them by hand, but if you use transfer tape try sealing it first😊 I’m so glad you’re here !!
can you use print and cut instead of cutting by hand?
My print then cut never worked right lol
@@CourtneysCustoms thank you
I just open the lid when I put it on the cup, then close it. It only pops up because the air inside is pushing it back up because it has nowhere to go
Hey Courtney I have a problem with getting the tumbler wraps to go all the way around the tumbler. I ordered the ones that were made for 20, 30 oz but it's not working. What am I doing wrong?
Hi!! Are you measuring your blank tumblers correctly and resizing the wraps before printing them out?
@@CourtneysCustoms I hv used the fingernail method, cutting board and scissors. I bought them from etsy thinking they were made to fit and some overlap so can I just leave it overlapped when I wrap or will that leave a seam where it does?
How did you print the waterslide mirrored?! Have I been doing this wrong the entire time?!

Hi there, just wondering where did you getbtje assistance for you website? Will you please let me know?
I’m sorry I’m not sure what you mean
Instead of adding a lot of inks, spray with rubbing alcohol and it will blend it better.
i was thinking that might work as well!
I can’t seem to join your Facebook group
Can you make one that says "white trash tumbler"?
