Pros:
Good support for radiators, fans and storage
Price is fair
Cable management works well
Decent front IO panel with USB Type-C

Airflow in the Elite is bizarre. Three PWM fans behind glass!
Basic and Flow versions have 1,500rpm fans with voltage control
Black cases have glass which is very heavily tinted
Elite RGB and fan control requires NZXT CAM software

#NZXT #H7elite #H7flow - Наука та технологія
I love Leo's vocabulary and his sense of humour ! Nice review thanks :)
The dark tint does add a nice contrast effect between your computer being off or running. Off, the case goes all dark, like a black box. Turn it on, the transition between dark and lit up is quite nice. Maybe not for everyone, but it plays to NZXT's simple design aesthetic.
Very nice review, I still have an old Phantom case, the first version had slight issues, but they build really solid cases. I really like the black cases.
Just ordered the H7 Flow and wil be transferring everything from a Phanteks Evolve X! Cant wait!
Anyone know how wide of a motherboard can fit in without removing the cable shroud? I’m looking to build a PC with an Aorus Aero Z690 D E-ATX Form Factor; 30.5cm x 25.9cm.
Anyone know why only one of my front panel fans are spinning the RGB works but only one is spinning any help would be great
Thank you Leo! Came back to this review again, after watching all the rest. I think I'll go with the fractal pop xl, due to extra 5cm for the gpu lenhth, if! I can get it cheaper...
Proz: a front panel connector that is one piece, and everyone should follow them on that
The h510 elite had one more magnetic strip at the top, why did they remove it from the h7?...
im getting h7 black and white case. so is that more tinted glass or not ?
The flow looks quite good.
I impulse bought the Flow case (because I needed something for a multi gpu setup) and it's turned out really nice. My only gripe with it is related to the cable bar... my primary gpu (MSI rx6900xt) barely fits... the card basically sits on the metal. I'm mixed on whether I take the bar out (cards fits perfectly) or keep it in. Other than that the case is great. I do wish there was a mesh panel option instead of the glass.
The Flow is one of the best cases atm.
why u don't try the basic whit 3 front fans?
Im looking to buy a new PC Case and I am thinking h510 elite or should i go 4000d or 5000d smth? Greatly appreciated if someone helps
Either of the 2 Corsair options are better.
Always a Great review
I'm on the fence between the H7 flow and corsair 5000d. I prefer the looks of the Flow, plus it supports 4x 140mm fans (1 at the back, 3 at the front), and it has toolless panels. But on the other hand, the 5000d is readily available where i live, while the H7 flow is out of stock in every local store i find.
What did you get?
@@bachir5767 i finally got an H7 and 4x arctic bionix p14 fans. Quiet and easy to build in and maintain, and it fits my all black, no rgb looks as well :)
@@EnlighterMinh thanks i am still hesitating between h7 and lianli lancool mesh 2 beacuse i want rgb and lianli comes with rgb but its not available where i am from..
Don't get the corsair, their IO is such ass.
@@kowhaifan1249 I got the H7, fine case :)
I recently updated my case to a DeepCool CK560 WH. Don't know why you'd go with the NZXT over it. The DeepCool is cheaper and you get 3 ARGB fans and 1 140mm rear fan. Temps are really good in it too.
Wow you get 3 shitty rgb fans with it… best case ever.
im nzxt fan... so i still prefer nzxt case than the rest
How are these new rgb fans from NZXT? Are they now the best rgb fan and how close are they to noctua performance and sound?
By definition you cannot compare RGB fans that use proprietary software control with Noctuas. I haven't done a direct comparison but the fans in the Elite appear similar to a mid-range Corsair fan.
Leo
@@KitGuruTech Thanks for the reply. If by definition you can't compare the fans. Could you add a Phantek Digital Halo to the Noctua then compare them? How is the noise, cfm as case fan and radiator fan of these new NZXT fans? Are they a big improvement over the last gen of NZXT rgb fans?
I own the h510 elite. The front glass is removable and i can make a custom mesh for it easily. Just for summer days. It still looks better than these to me
That's committed of you. Such a shame they did not offer that option from the factory.
Leo
I had a h510 elite and bought the flow mesh on ebay for $20. The ebay user had it factory sealed straight from NZXT. I wonder why they just don't sell it on their website for people who want flow..
I had that case at one point. My GPU was so big that it single-handedly stopped the airflow and overheated everything and that was with a specially ordered mesh panel.
@@KitGuruTech I am trying to figure out if the H5 Flow front panel will fit on the H5 Elite. :) I might be dumb enough to buy a whole case just to nick its front panel. :)
I find it funny that NZXT charges more for a case with crippled performance. I don't know any enthusiast who would buy the Elite, much less build in one. Pretty is not the major selling point.
Corsair did the same with their newer X000D cases, with the airflow focused one being the cheapest. These aren't for enthusiasts, rather your average denizen who value form more over function
Edit: This was written before watching the video and the presenter also seems to share the same opinion of them copying Corsair
@@ij6708 It's sad that they are focusing on the 'average denizen'. I guess they think that group is the only one foolish enough to pay the extra for something 'prettier'.
@@ij6708 Corsairs still get air flow especially the 5000x. Those 3 fan slots on the side work wonders.
whats funny is shitty comments
More case options are good-at this level the place is awash with similar items from Corsair (4000d/5000d airflows),Fractal, cooler master and umpteen others.
We completely agree with that sentiment. Of course it is a different matter which cases we recommend to our enthusiast audience.
Leo
great rewiew, thanks
Nice but I’m waiting on the Lian Li lancool Iii
To make matters worse, the 4000d is significantly cheaper than any of these options - what was NZXT thinking?
nzxt in grenial is wayy overrated imo. I love my ASUS case.
@@Direwoof asus make really shit cases
The size of the H7 is between the 4000D and the 5000D. What NZXT needs to do next is to make a successor to the H510 (likely called H5) and improve the fan support like 3x120mm/2x140mm at the front and a 280mm radiator support at the top (though I'd expect them to execute this part badly if they're going to make one).
The 5000D is cheaper as well and you can put 6 120mm fans in the front
@@spentcasing3990 air flow version is $20 more
With either case the cost will come to 199$ or above. the fan's cost will kill ya! its close to 30$ per one AER RGB 2. Anybody getting fooled that it is 129$ will pay dearly... H710 was still a better buy imo.
you know you can use this case without aer rgb fans right?
Havent watched footy in a while and it made me wonder, does anyone else miss the Chicharito corsair ad?
Was good.
What is it with NZXT and making case with awful airflow. You look at the Lian Li Lancool 205 and its almost a troll on NZXT.
You wanna talk about awful airflow look at the Omen Obelisk
Are those 140 mm fans in the front?
Yup triple 140mm up front, wish more manu's did this it just looks nicer than 3 120mm's
This case got me, i mean the h7 flow. Not just from how this case looks, but the fans support and the cable management is cool.
I tought they're changed, but nope, they're still the same, lol. Sell same pc case with 'different name', the qc still the same as always.
I guess, I stick with 4000d airflow.
I really love the satire and dark joke leo and jesus tech put in their review video for this case 😆
Were you able to get the cam software working with the rgb fans? I rebuilt my pc 2 times into 2 of the same case and still cant fix it.
Less stupid but still stupid. Nothing to burst into flames though so that is something. (Though substituting fans that fall apart in transit is a sidegrade that keeps the derp up!) If you are going to support 3x140mm (or 1 or 2) fans you should support the matching rad size; ie: 420mm. "Quite musical"? Don't give the fecks ideas; I wouldn't want that to be the next stupid after RGB; to take your ears off the noise. :-)
They are recycling at most parts as they can from the older cases... suck anyway
If you want front glass and good airflow, O11 Evo. That’s it.
Hell of a lot more expensive especially when you add fans.
If I get it I would get h7 flow not the elite version why I was confused on this video
In this video I address all three versions of the H7 and at the end I also say I would choose the Flow version
I buy NZXT cases. all these temps look good enough to me. I won't keep any of my hardware long enough for them to hot themselves to death.
Lol 8:25 i had a lot of fun! Elementary mr watson ! I like those review because of the musicality of it 😁
The main advantage of the h7 elite is it's looks.. No air can't go thru glass but it sure as he'll like sexy.. For the people that value airflow the h7 flow is obviously better
I'm confused 😕 how is that terrible how your talking about elite not h7 flow
How is h510 flow
KitGuru reviewed the H510 Elite rather than the H510 Flow as you can see here ua-cam.com/video/BUntPCfTZGE/v-deo.html
@@KitGuruTech thanks
Using Yodel for deliveries? 😂😂😂
cool
Thanks for your Review. I really like Gamernexus, but his Cam-Team is terrible. This whole flying around like a TIE Fighter thing... everything zoomt
It's a funny thing but on first reading I thought you meant the NZXT CAM software and then your words clicked
Leo
H7 flow is very good 👍
Just get the h7 flow
Leaving six comments is very keen of you - no doubt you spotted the thumbnail for this video say 'Leo Goes With the Flow'
looks like stock case of h7 beeter , h7 elite more temperature , no good
Make your choice and pay your money,
NZXT H710i looks better
