How to Adjust Pressure Compensator & Load Sense Setting on a Danfoss Series 45 Pump
Adjusting the Pressure Compensator Setting
Step 1: Loosen the set screw on PC adjusting plug
Step 2: Adjust the PC setting by turning the plug clockwise to increase pressure and counter clockwise to decrease pressure
Step 3: When desired pressure is reached; tighten the screw
Adjusting the Load Sense Setting
Step 1: Loosen the set screw on load sense adjusting plug
Step 2: Adjust the load sense setting by turning the plug clockwise to increase pressure and counter clockwise to decrease pressure
Step 3: When desired pressure is reached; tighten the screw

Even I been adjusting pressure compensator many times I still confuse how to adjust the load sensing
For the pressure compensator outlet valve must be close in order to adjust the correct setting.What about for adjusting the load sensing? discharge valve closed or open?

Why would u set the load sensing line pressur to only 300psi ...isn't tht is two much for pump to run on or its the pressure it will use with the actuator tht why?

Not clear in video, people don’t understand, Load sense is idle pump pressure, normally 300psi.

What an insult. What parameters do you use to set the load sense. The only thing you can get from this is to set the main compensator first. Poor effort here
