Sometimes it disturbs me people walking around in a coma or something? We are blessed to know I have been looking for the signs since I was little. I wish I could find a site that explains the Revelation I read it so many times but, need it explained? I obsessively read around 10 years ago. I got bible of the year podcast but, am so behind. I love the Gospels I need the rest explained to me. I believe too Father Mark it will get worse. I did the the surrender to Jesus on Hallow app. The guy that plays Jesus in the Chosen did it. He said 3 years ago he had nothing not even food and got on his knees and said Jesus I surrender myself to you and he said everything changed. I wish he did interviews I find him intriguing. He seems like he is a private type.

Because the church itself is the one not teaching us about the bible. I have never heard a priest talk about Revelations in the bible. I had to find out my self about the times we are living in.
Jesus showed his disciples how they should pray as an example, he did not tell them: Here is the prayer that you should repeat over and over again! (Matthew 6: 9-13). Prayer is comparable to someone talking to his friend or even to a child talking to his father, would we find it sane of mind that a child talks to his father by repeating the same words over and over again? @@mec325 The Rosary is biblical. As you bring up Matthew Chapter 6 verses 9-13, The Lord’s Prayer is prayed 6 times as we pray the Rosary. You clearly don’t know anything about the Rosary. It is humbly prayed meditating for not 50 seconds or 5 minutes, but up to 25 minutes or more. The Rosary is mediating on 20 scripture readings . . . in other words, every word prayed on the Rosary beads is from scripture.
An added thought- good Priests who speak the truth of what’s happening in this world will be noticed and likely targeted. I remember when I was younger I had a great aunt who said her daily rosary, watched mass on tv though she couldn’t see with her human eyes any longer, and became angelic looking in her later years. I now know why she was spending so much time boosting her spiritual connection. I’ve no doubt that woman is with the Lord and God willing I’ll see her again to thank her for the example she set at a time when I was lost to the faith. Blessings to you!
@@rmuller366 Wonderful, my grandma and grandad were very devout Catholics lately I have been thinking of them so much they both died rather young. I remember in my 10 year old brain I knelt in front of her coffin and said Lord I won't see her for so long. She was like the Rock in the family. My grandad was the softy but, they were both wonderful. When we would drive from Ontario to Quebec my grandad would be sitting at the front door waiting for us to get there. We would run in and he always made a joke to us. I was born in Quebec but, my dad was transferred to Ontario. We always had Christmas with them or they would come to stay with us. Once a Jehovah Witness came to their home and my grandad said I am off to mass I will listen to you if you will listen to me. They never came back. Viva Cristo Rey.

If someone hasn't figured it out by now, that it's all about the fight for our souls, maybe he/she needs to look much much closer. Study the Bible, study history of the world, study the signs from the past desades up until now. It's all about your, my, his and her soul. Repent, turn to God 100%. A lukewarm 50%-er or a 90%-er is not enough. Listen to Jesus and how he said to some faithful "I don't know you", despite them being good people. Aim for a very intimate relationship with the Holy Trinity and completely surrender your life to His will. Just like our Saints have done.

Yes knowing our history is SO important! I used to think I had a decent understanding of the problems of the world but when I started homeschooling my children I found the history I had learned in Catholic school growing up (money was tight so they used books supplied by the gov't) was not the same history I was teaching my children with books in Our Mother of Divine Grace's curriculum (we're using the books "How Our Nation Began", "Pioneers and Patriots", and "Story of the Church"). Fr. Rager's "The Political Philosophy of St. Robert Bellarmine" is good too. But it wasn't until I started reading Fulton Sheen that I realized how wrong I was on a lot of modern day issues. The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know... it's very humbling and in some ways makes it seem like I really don't fit in anywhere. Take the below quote from Sheen for example... who in the Catholic Church is talking like him now days? "Those who think that capitalism and socialism are enemies should long ponder, how the capitalistic system of England has without any revolution, become socialistic. Capitalism in the United States has 'not yet' become socialism, but the growing power of the State indicates that the transition is taking place slowly. I do have a caveat I have my children read when reading Bellarmine: "It's a tough concept to get, especially condensed like that. The issue is whether God granted any kind of sovereignty to anything that is not a natural person, i.e., a human being. Bellarmine thought yes, to the collective, otherwise he thought you can't explain things like the right to collect taxes, punish malefactors, wage war, and so on, none of which private individuals as individuals can do. Pius XI said, no, only human beings are granted sovereignty, which they can then delegate to the group (the State): "Only man, the human person, and not society in any form is endowed with reason and a morally free will." (Divini Redemptoris, § 29.) The key to understanding Pius XI's correction (per Father Ferree's analysis) is to realize that we as individuals have certain inherent (absolute, inalienable) rights that we cannot exercise as individuals, but only as members of duly constituted organized groups. These are social, as opposed to individual rights, and it is probably the single biggest stumbling block in understanding social justice, even the whole of Pius XI's social doctrine, which you suddenly realize is an incredible breakthrough in moral philosophy. This sort of comes through in Father Ferree's pamphlet, "Introduction to Social Justice," but is treated with the utmost rigor in his butt-busting "The Act of Social Justice," which is also on our republication schedule, one of these decades. Stock up on either aspirin or booze before you read it, assuming you can even find a copy. The "top" so-called solidarist in the U.S. has thrown out Thomism and abandoned the natural law based on reason in favor of his personal will, and reverted to a fascist version of solidarism that is just another type of socialism. If you want to see solidarism in action, check out the work of Señor Alberto Martén Chavarría of Costa Rica, founder of Solidarismo Costaricense, which was the progenitor of the solidarity movement in Central and South America. Don Alberto worked with Louis Kelso and Norman Kurland, and thought Kelsonian binary economics provided a "missing link" in solidarism. I believe he is honored in Costa Rica as a national hero." -Michael D. Greaney A friend asked me to put that in low-English so with Michael's approval here is my "translation": Bottom Line Up Front: Bellarmine thought inalienable rights were endowed on Man AND on the Collective. Before canonizing Bellarmine, Pius XI corrected the error. Inalienable rights are bestowed on Man alone but there are two kind of rights, individual and social. Social rights can not be exercised as individuals so they must be delegated by man to the state. Basically only humans are endowed with inalienable rights, not governments and (contrary to the claims of the Protestant Divine Right of Kings theory argued by Filmer and Hobbes) kings aren't born with more rights than the peasant (the Rager booklet explains how in early Christendom kings were actually elected by the people). Yet Rager made the same error that Bellarmine made (which was in De Lacias, an otherwise brilliant defense of the Catholic/natural law view of government against the Protestant fidest thinking of his day)...thinking that the state was endowed with certain inalienable rights (see the sections below). Otherwise where does the state get the authority to tax, punish criminals, declare war etc.?). "But natural law is Divine law, therefore, government was instituted by Divine law, and this seems to be the correct meaning of St. Paul when he says, “He that resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God.” Note, secondly, that this power resides, as in its subject, immediately in the whole state, for this power is by Divine law, but Divine law gives this power to no particular man, therefore Divine law gives this power to the collected body. Furthermore, in the absence of positive law, there is no good reason why, in a multitude of equals, one rather than another should dominate. Therefore, power belongs to the collected body. It almost seems like an insignificant difference but if one believes the collective has inalienable rights in any way shape or form, then it is not too far of a jump to the idea that the man's rights come from the state instead of God. (We live in a society where the corporation has the legal status of personhood but not the unborn child...how messed up is that!) To drive home the point, here are some Sheen quotes: "The State exists for the person, not the person for the State, democracy is founded on this moral principle of the political order. Totalitarianism, on the contrary, in all its forms, believes the person exists for the State. "Totalitarianism in all its forms, believes the person exists for the State. From the moral point of view, the position of democracy is right because the person is prior in origin to the State, the person is nobler in nature than the State, and the person, having an immortal soul, is the subject of rights. -- Fulton J. Sheen, Catholic Hour Radio, 1944 "The essence of Americanism is not revolution, but the recognition of the sacredness of human personality, and the inherent inalienable rights which every man possesses independent of the State." ~ Fulton J. Sheen, 1941. “If by interference in politics is meant judging or condemning a philosophy of life which makes the party, or the state, or the class, or the race the source of all rights, and which usurps the soul and enthrones party over conscience and denies those basic rights for which this war was fought, the answer is emphatically Yes! Our Legion of Mary at Annunciation of the Lord Parish in Ottawa used to make rosaries for Father Bob's Seminarians about 20 years ago and on one visit with a batch of rosaries Father Bob took one of the rosaries and lifted it over his head and said :"the World's weapon against Satan!" Even though I don't have a very good memory, I still have that very vivid picture in my head.

On Sunday, 29 August, 2021, I happened to be in Krakow and heard two Masses, one at the shrine of Divine Mercy, and the other in St Faustina's church, where there is the original painting of Divine Mercy, under which painting there are the remains of St Faustina. Realize that you are a hopeless sinner and trust in Jesus and only Jesus to save you. You can say a prayer expressing your gratitude, sorrow for your sins, etc. the words don’t matter, but remember your prayer doesn’t save you. Your trust in Jesus and what He did for you on the cross is what saves you. The moment you trust in Jesus and only Jesus, you are sealed by the Holy Spirit and are saved forever.
I pray we listen to St.Paul : “But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. For I am already being poured as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.” ~2 Timothy 4: 5-8.

Wolves in Sheep's clothing are everywhere. For example, a friend of mine listens to artist Demi Lovato. We've seen that girl go from proclaiming herself as a Christian ..and getting herself tattooed with Christian symbols ... and then, recently, producing songs that promotes kissing another girl and hiding it from one's mother .... being "cool for the summer", she says in the lyrics. She now has a song called "anyone" where she talks about "I feel stpuid, when I pray ... No one's listening, anyway.." It's no wonder you see Demi on the news now, supporting her uncertainty about her own gender. The devil is stronger, when people lose / weaken their unstable faith.

Sometimes it disturbs me people walking around in a coma or something? We are blessed to know I have been looking for the signs since I was little. I wish I could find a site that explains the Revelation I read it so many times but, need it explained? I obsessively read around 10 years ago. I got bible of the year podcast but, am so behind. I love the Gospels I need the rest explained to me. I believe too Father Mark it will get worse. I did the the surrender to Jesus on Hallow app. The guy that plays Jesus in the Chosen did it. He said 3 years ago he had nothing not even food and got on his knees and said Jesus I surrender myself to you and he said everything changed. I wish he did interviews I find him intriguing. He seems like he is a private type.

@@mec325 The Rosary is biblical. As you bring up Matthew Chapter 6 verses 9-13, The Lord’s Prayer is prayed 6 times as we pray the Rosary. You clearly don’t know anything about the Rosary. It is humbly prayed meditating for not 50 seconds or 5 minutes, but up to 25 minutes or more. The Rosary is mediating on 20 scripture readings . . . in other words, every word prayed on the Rosary beads is from scripture.
An added thought- good Priests who speak the truth of what’s happening in this world will be noticed and likely targeted. Please pray for Father Mark and any honest Priests you know that they may be kept safe even as they subtly and bravely speak truth to us for our salvation. Stay awake, not “woked.”

I remember when I was younger I had a great aunt who said her daily rosary, watched mass on tv though she couldn’t see with her human eyes any longer, and became angelic looking in her later years. I now know why she was spending so much time boosting her spiritual connection. I’ve no doubt that woman is with the Lord and God willing I’ll see her again to thank her for the example she set at a time when I was lost to the faith. Blessings to you!
@@rmuller366 Wonderful, my grandma and grandad were very devout Catholics lately I have been thinking of them so much they both died rather young. I remember in my 10 year old brain I knelt in front of her coffin and said Lord I won't see her for so long. She was like the Rock in the family. My grandad was the softy but, they were both wonderful. When we would drive from Ontario to Quebec my grandad would be sitting at the front door waiting for us to get there. We would run in and he always made a joke to us. I was born in Quebec but, my dad was transferred to Ontario. We always had Christmas with them or they would come to stay with us. Once a Jehovah Witness came to their home and my grandad said I am off to mass I will listen to you if you will listen to me. They never came back.

If someone hasn't figured it out by now, that it's all about the fight for our souls, maybe he/she needs to look much much closer. Study the Bible, study history of the world, study the signs from the past desades up until now. It's all about your, my, his and her soul. Repent, turn to God 100%. A lukewarm 50%-er or a 90%-er is not enough. Listen to Jesus and how he said to some faithful "I don't know you", despite them being good people. Aim for a very intimate relationship with the Holy Trinity and completely surrender your life to His will. Just like our Saints have done.
Amen! But we all have to know precisely what it means to do "HIS WILL". For my part I did not always understand it until I realized that '' HIS WILL '' is perfectly written in (Exodus 20). Jesus confirms it with this following passage: (John 14:15). Unfortunately, many believe that they are doing the Father's will by practicing a religion contrary to His commandments. Those who will be entitled to the kingdom of God is very well described in this following verse: (Revelation 22:14).
May God grant us the will and the power to do all of '' HIS WILL '' (Philippians 2:13).

Yes knowing our history is SO important! I used to think I had a decent understanding of the problems of the world but when I started homeschooling my children I found the history I had learned in Catholic school growing up (money was tight so they used books supplied by the gov't) was not the same history I was teaching my children with books in Our Mother of Divine Grace's curriculum (we're using the books "How Our Nation Began", "Pioneers and Patriots", and "Story of the Church"). Fr. Rager's "The Political Philosophy of St. Robert Bellarmine" is good too. But it wasn't until I started reading Fulton Sheen that I realized how wrong I was on a lot of modern day issues. The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know... it's very humbling and in some ways makes it seem like I really don't fit in anywhere. Take the below quote from Sheen for example... who in the Catholic Church is talking like him now days?
"Those who think that capitalism and socialism are enemies should long ponder, how the capitalistic system of England has without any revolution, become socialistic. Capitalism in the United States has 'not yet' become socialism, but the growing power of the State indicates that the transition is taking place slowly. It may be inquired when the transition of one to another takes place without revolution."

Brownson; "Intro to Social Justice" by Fr. William Ferree; "Freedom Under God" by Ven. Fulton Sheen; "The Act of Social Justice" by Fr. William Ferree, "The Capitalist Mannifesto" chapter 5 by Mortimer Adler & Louis Kelso; "Democracy in America" by Alexis de Tocqueville; "De Laicis" by St. Robert Bellarmine) Fr. Rager's book is out of print, but thankfully I did find it on a Catholic Homeschool Mom's website as a free PDF. I had been looking for it for years.

Edited to add that we also use "Economic Personalism: Property, Power & Justice for Every Person" by Michael D. Greaney & Dawn K Brohawn for Civics and that Civics is not from the Mother of Divine Grace curriculum but my own cobbled together curriculum.
I do have a caveat I have my children read when reading Bellarmine:
"It's a tough concept to get, especially condensed like that. The issue is whether God granted any kind of sovereignty to anything that is not a natural person, i.e., a human being. Bellarmine thought yes, to the collective, otherwise he thought you can't explain things like the right to collect taxes, punish malefactors, wage war, and so on, none of which private individuals as individuals can do. Pius XI said, no, only human beings are granted sovereignty, which they can then delegate to the group (the State): "Only man, the human person, and not society in any form is endowed with reason and a morally free will." (Divini Redemptoris, § 29.) The key to understanding Pius XI's correction (per Father Ferree's analysis) is to realize that we as individuals have certain inherent (absolute, inalienable) rights that we cannot exercise as individuals, but only as members of duly constituted organized groups. These are social, as opposed to individual rights, and it is probably the single biggest stumbling block in understanding social justice, even the whole of Pius XI's social doctrine, which you suddenly realize is an incredible breakthrough in moral philosophy. This sort of comes through in Father Ferree's pamphlet, "Introduction to Social Justice," but is treated with the utmost rigor in his butt-busting "The Act of Social Justice," which is also on our republication schedule, one of these decades. Forgot: Rommen, a student of Father Heinrich Pesch, didn't recognize a particular act of social justice, and thus distorted distributive justice a bit (although he avoided the, uh, stuff and stunts Monsignor John A. Ryan pulled). Just keep that in mind whenever he mentions distributive justice and you can't go too far wrong. Otherwise the book is absolutely brilliant. It also proves conclusively that so-called solidarists in the U.S. have no real idea what they're talking about in many cases, and no true appreciation of what Father Heinrich Pesch accomplished when he tossed out the fascist socialism of Émile Durkheim's solidarism and integrated it into Thomism. The "top" so-called solidarist in the U.S. has thrown out Thomism and abandoned the natural law based on reason in favor of his personal will, and reverted to a fascist version of solidarism that is just another type of socialism. If you want to see solidarism in action, check out the work of Señor Alberto Martén Chavarría of Costa Rica, founder of Solidarismo Costaricense, which was the progenitor of the solidarity movement in Central and South America. Don Alberto worked with Louis Kelso and Norman Kurland, and thought Kelsonian binary economics provided a "missing link" in solidarism. Bottom Line Up Front: Bellarmine thought inalienable rights were endowed on Man AND on the Collective. Before canonizing Bellarmine, Pius XI corrected the error. Inalienable rights are bestowed on Man alone but there are two kind of rights, individual and social. Social rights can not be exercised as individuals so they must be delegated by man to the state.
Basically only humans are endowed with inalienable rights, not governments and (contrary to the claims of the Protestant Divine Right of Kings theory argued by Filmer and Hobbes) kings aren't born with more rights than the peasant (the Rager booklet explains how in early Christendom kings were actually elected by the people). Yet Rager made the same error that Bellarmine made (which was in De Lacias, an otherwise brilliant defense of the Catholic/natural law view of government against the Protestant fidest thinking of his day)...thinking that the state was endowed with certain inalienable rights (see the sections below). Otherwise where does the state get the authority to tax, punish criminals, declare war etc.?).
"But natural law is Divine law, therefore, government was instituted by Divine law, and this seems to be the correct meaning of St. Paul when he says, “He that resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God.”
Note, secondly, that this power resides, as in its subject, immediately in the whole state, for this power is by Divine law, but Divine law gives this power to no particular man, therefore Divine law gives this power to the collected body. Furthermore, in the absence of positive law, there is no good reason why, in a multitude of equals, one rather than another should dominate. Therefore, power belongs to the collected body. Finally, human society ought to be a perfect State, therefore, it should have the power to preserve itself, hence, to punish disturbers of the peace, etc."

Before canonizing Bellarmine, Pope Pius XI corrected Bellarmine's one mistake. Pius XI made the correction in Divini Redemptoris #29: "Only man, the human person, and not society in any form is endowed with reason and a morally free will."
In short, all right are given to man and none are given to the collective/state. The distinction is made here: man has individual AND social rights. Social rights can not be exercised as individuals...so must be done by a gov't thus the social rights are delegated BY the citizens TO the state.
It almost seems like an insignificant difference but if one believes the collective has inalienable rights in any way shape or form, then it is not too far of a jump to the idea that the man's rights come from the state instead of God. (We live in a society where the corporation has the legal status of personhood but not the unborn child...how messed up is that!)
To drive home the point, here are some Sheen quotes:
"The State exists for the person, not the person for the State, democracy is founded on this moral principle of the political order. Totalitarianism, on the contrary, in all its forms, believes the person exists for the State.
"Totalitarianism in all its forms, believes the person exists for the State. From the moral point of view, the position of democracy is right because the person is prior in origin to the State, the person is nobler in nature than the State, and the person, having an immortal soul, is the subject of rights.

Our Legion of Mary at Annunciation of the Lord Parish in Ottawa used to make rosaries for Father Bob's Seminarians about 20 years ago and on one visit with a batch of rosaries Father Bob took one of the rosaries and lifted it over his head and said :"the World's weapon against Satan!" Even though I don't have a very good memory, I still have that very vivid picture in my head.

Wolves in Sheep's clothing are everywhere. For example, a friend of mine listens to artist Demi Lovato. We've seen that girl go from proclaiming herself as a Christian ..and getting herself tattooed with Christian symbols ... and then, recently, producing songs that promotes kissing another girl and hiding it from one's mother .... being "cool for the summer", she says in the lyrics.
