Following the refusal of the EU to authorize strikes deep into Russia, Ukraine has re-deployed its 47th mechanized brigade from Kursk to the Donbas in a a desperate effort to prevent the capture of Pokrovsk. Most likely too little to late. If Kiev admits its mistake and withdraws from Kursk it will mean the end of Zelensky.

Koronevko village is on the east side of the river. The main area is the town of koronevko which is on the west side of the river. Lots of reports with just the name but not clarifying village vs town
Belgorod explained. 1. northern Russian logistics hub closest to the Ukraine. It has the rail lines. About 25 miles from the Ukrainian border. Largely off limits until recently from the usage of American supplied weapon systems. This caused UA defensive lines to be placed 9 miles from the border. 2. Paul, as you know: a. you do not have to take and occupy territory to be able to destroy supply depots/railroad bridges. b. you do not have to go man-to-man or destroy trenchlines to disrupt logistics lines. 3. Historical note. Just before the beginning of the Second Gulf War, we did an elaborate fake operation to see the reaction of the best troops of Sadaam's army. The following was done in coordination within a couple of hours. We contacted every civilian hospital with a contract with the US military. Thousands of US hospitals. We then did open reports over Army channels. The goal was to learn any last minute defensive plans. The UA has been monitoring the response of the Russians to the Kursk situation. "Russia is not rerouting experienced troops or reducing its offense. It smartly understands that the UA will have a strong defensive position along a river that cannot be forded or covered by pontoon bridge so it is keeping its offense going elsewhere. The UA real objective has been to attack the supply depots around Belgorod and move up mobile artillery to hit logistics lines in the Belgorod region. If Russia does not shift troops now, the UA will move up drone operators and mobile artillery and start doing effective damage. It is much cheaper than using F16s and missiles.
It's simpler than that, they are trying to get Russian forces to shift out of Donebas. Russia can make small gains while losing parts of their nation. Also non response from Putin causes him to lose his Vlad title before his people.
Your government is worried about you being angry that Russia retaliated against you, for some reason, even though you have done nothing wrong and the only country that has militarily invaded Ukraine is Russia
RFU have been suggesting for a while that UKR wanted to try a flanking/encircling move on the eastern side of Vovchansk to relieve the city. This could be that.
regarding the number of troops committed; this all rely on the accuracy of the source and its intentions. it would be important to remember this into the calculations afaik. it would be an opsec advantage indeed to let the world know one thing then do another. yes?
it looks like they might attempt encirclement. the terrain looks like if they could take that whole area it would be more defensible and shortten their lines by shorten of kilometer, they should push in, then turn north
I wonder if the reports about the Ukraine front almost collapsing in East Ukraine isn't a carrot stick to keep the Russians distracted. Kind of like the "crumbling" center of Hannibal's line at the Battle of cannae... In which the Romans became so obsessed in completing the breaking of Hannibal's center.
yup, let them think they are "winning" so well in east Ukraine that they dont want to pull troops away. let them push deeper into territory to be surrounded while losing everywhere else. Ruzzian troops are good at tunnel vision and Ukraine is just giving them a great show !
The Ukrainian’s have had years to dig tunnels under specific enemy lines, they could easily pop up out of nowhere and undermine trenches. These are WWI tactics and they’ve had us Brits advising them from day one, we know all about trench warfare and the tactics don’t change much.
Undoubtedly, the British are among, if not at the top of the list of the most active supporters of Ukraine. And for this we are especially grateful. In the battle of Good versus Evil, the British are on the right side,
I am just thinking of the psych effect of even small raids in Belgorod, after the major incurssion of Kursk. I should imagine the Russian people's are shaken yet again.
I can’t help to think Ukraine is targeting Russian logistics. Seeing old maps on TV of Russian railways, they follow the border on the inside by a few miles/kilometers usually. Welp, targeting those would be a waste Russians are good at fixing them. But taking them over may be an effective means throttling supplies and the Ukrainian front, especially before the mud season/winter. Just a thought.
Thanks a lot. as all ways I appreciate your analysis and thoughts. Very good! But, please read this. It’s difficult to follow your presentation when you are showing the maps. And all time zooming in and out, moving to the left and to the right. Every time I have to orient my self to see where we are on the map. Please just slow down and just mark on the map where we should put attention. I really don’t want to criticize your work, but this is just a pedagogical thought I have. Take care Göran in Latvia
A force doesn't need to be that big. Ukraine doesn't need a force large enough to capture the city. Their existence in Belgorod is problematic for Putin. Suppose the Russian army tries to drive them out, but is then unable. This is far different than failing to take a new city in Ukraine. Just the fact that the troops are there and flying a Ukrainian flag within Russia proper is a very bad thing for Putin's image.
Has anyone pointed out the slow build up of Chinese forces on the border of Aigun as china considers the return of these territories from Russia.? China is bidding its time as the Ukraine war weakens Russia to the point of having no army and vessel state status to China when Putin goes suddenly.
Could it be that they may not be trying to make real advances but just keeping Russia on their toes and stop them from flooding their conscripts and res reserves into Kursk? I have no military experience lol just theorising
This is just a PR campaign by Zelensky. You can say that and it's close to the truth. But at this time, Ukrainian soldiers are evacuating people in the east and leaving their positions.
I dont know but what they are doing lately seems way more effective than attacking through minefields and fortified positions. They keep russias artillery on the move as well.
Ukraine is trying to shift reality 180⁰. This reminds of the time a young mugger tried to roll me while I was on my way home from the bar. He said "Give me ya wallet!". I was a little drunk, and before I had time to think I blurted out, "Nah, give me YOUR f#$king wallet!". (Probably foolhardy, but that's beer for ya) The mugger got confused, then worried so I kept demanding his wallet. He told me to please stop and ran away.

Koronevco is broken in 2. The one on the Ukrainian side is called the town and the one on the other side of the river is the city both with the same name
A Belgorod invasion would make a lot more strategic sense. Maybe Kursk was the diversion and this is the real thing? I am sure a lot of other people have suggested this too.
Isn't Belgorod Russia's logistics door to feed troops and equipment into Eastern Ukraine? I see taking territory there to be very significant if that's the case. If they can disrupt Russia supplying troops and equipment into Eastern Ukraine, Russia can't mount a strong offense over there, and maybe not be able to hold ground long term.
Keep in mind there is a Korenevo VILLAGE (East side, much smaller), and the CITY of Korenevo which is the bigger and more important goal a bit west of the village. It appears UA has taken the village, but not yet the city. Two separate places with the same name!
The general assessment is that Russia's raid did minimal actual damage. The main impact was the hydroelectric plant to the north was put out of action for a while.

CVP is , of course, completely silent on Ukraine's continuing catastrophe in the Donbas.
Ukraine still has a lot of reserves (tens of thousands) in the Kursk region and northern Ukraine. This battle is far from over.
Its over.
It's coming out that Ukraine were saying there low on troops was a tactic
@@_alienbloodHas been done before the Kharkiv offensive as well and Russians always fall for it because it confirms what they want to believe.
@@moiseshuerta3984well if YOU declare it is then so it must be! 😂😂

Just a reminder that we do not need or want up-to-date information on Ukranian actions or troop movements.
We want them to do what they are there to do and we can find out about it later, when it is finished and Ukrainian soldiers etc. are safe.
Thanks for the video
Ukraine must have found out they pulled troops from there to go north!!
The Ukrainian pows to.d Russian authorities their plan was to invade Kursk then Belgarod. Nothing happening here is unexpected by Russia.
Masterful diversion. If you defend everything, you defend nothing (Frederick the Great).
This will force Russia to pull troops out of Ukraine to counter. Will they do so in time before roads are cut?
@@JayMayne-zo1qhExactly! Just as when the red plague's artillery pounded on Berlin's doors - it wasn't unexpected for the Austrian failed painter. The problem for him, just as for the russian' judoka today was - there was nothing he could do about it 😎
@@JayMayne-zo1qh Of course we all believe you, as obviously some random Russian troll would know all the details of Russia's military planning.
This is exactly what i thought would happen when the Kursk offensive happened. They probably want the Kursk and Belgorod incursions to link up, but the ultimate goal is to wall off Russian reinforcements so that Ukraine can move East and retake Luhansk from the North.
2. Paul, as you know:
a. you do not have to take and occupy territory to be able to destroy supply depots/railroad bridges.
b. you do not have to go man-to-man or destroy trenchlines to disrupt logistics lines.
THANX FOR THE POST!!! ;-)
It's hard to understand why Ukraine can't freely use the weapons given to them.
Your government is worried about you being angry that Russia retaliated against you, for some reason, even though you have done nothing wrong and the only country that has militarily invaded Ukraine is Russia
Wow Crazy times P
Glad you are on the Pro democracy side!
Thanks, Paul.
My former brother-in-law lives in Belgorod. This should be interesting!
There is a village of Korenevo and a city of Korenevo on each side of the river
RFU have been suggesting for a while that UKR wanted to try a flanking/encircling move on the eastern side of Vovchansk to relieve the city. This could be that.
In my day it was called ‘recon pull.’ Recon units find the gap and main force quickly rolls into the gap.
From Kursk to Belgorod. Looks like a half encirclement.
Bold. Really bold. Really risky. I would LOVE to know what weakness they discovered to risk such a move
It's a carefully calculated move with a little risk. Ukr knows better than Russian where RU soldiers are. US satellites and their own drones.
@@panan7777 Well, this didnt really happen. Nobody but pro-ukriane press reprots it, and its not even on the maps,
regarding the number of troops committed;
this all rely on the accuracy of the source and its intentions. it would be important to remember this into the calculations afaik. it would be an opsec advantage indeed to let the world know one thing then do another. yes?
it looks like they might attempt encirclement. the terrain looks like if they could take that whole area it would be more defensible and shortten their lines by shorten of kilometer, they should push in, then turn north
I must say there are some delightfully defensible rivers near belgorod!
Imagine 200 troops each carrying 2-3 small drones targeting Russian supply lines and troops from behind...
Jake Broe raised over a million dollars last night again, for another 30 trucks!! Drones and the extras!!
I was on the stream! It was a nice one, glad so much was raised!
In the battle of Good versus Evil, the British are on the right side,
What if they are trying to circle the forces to cut off supplies to them so that they retreat back?
When Russia says something is under control they mean then are aware of it and trying lol
I am just thinking of the psych effect of even small raids in Belgorod, after the major incurssion of Kursk. I should imagine the Russian people's are shaken yet again.
Russia army... the second best army in Russia 😂😂😂
Supposedly one of the reasons for the Kursk excursion was to disrupt logistics into Belgorad. It only makes sense they would push that advantage.
Hello Goliath, meet our friend David. Should have thought of this before you invaded.
@@krisfrederick5001 poetic
I can’t help to think Ukraine is targeting Russian logistics. Seeing old maps on TV of Russian railways, they follow the border on the inside by a few miles/kilometers usually.
Welp, targeting those would be a waste Russians are good at fixing them.
But taking them over may be an effective means throttling supplies and the Ukrainian front, especially before the mud season/winter.
Just a thought.
Probably trying to hit the reinforcements before they arrive in Kursk
Makes sense
Thanks!

Thank you
Mr. Governor, you will be briefed on how many troops are there by your military...
A force doesn't need to be that big. Ukraine doesn't need a force large enough to capture the city. Their existence in Belgorod is problematic for Putin.
Suppose the Russian army tries to drive them out, but is then unable. This is far different than failing to take a new city in Ukraine.
Just the fact that the troops are there and flying a Ukrainian flag within Russia proper is a very bad thing for Putin's image.
rlly good neutral analysis of late, much appreciated
Great job Paul
Has anyone pointed out the slow build up of Chinese forces on the border of Aigun as china considers the return of these territories from Russia.?
China is bidding its time as the Ukraine war weakens Russia to the point of having no army and vessel state status to China when Putin goes suddenly.
Japan should get ready to take back the Kuril islands as well.

This is just a PR campaign by Zelensky. You can say that and it's close to the truth. But at this time, Ukrainian soldiers are evacuating people in the east and leaving their positions.

😮 Is there any way possible you can adjust the focus so we can read the names of the towns that you're describing...😊
Slava Ukrayini! Heroyam slava!
Went with the muscle shirt, eh? Bold move.
Keep in mind there is a Korenevo VILLAGE (East side, much smaller), and the CITY of Korenevo which is the bigger and more important goal a bit west of the village. It appears UA has taken the village, but not yet the city. Two separate places with the same name!
I've heard that Belgorod has the main rail link into this area that supplies the Russian troops.
