Let's Learn English! Topic: Common Sounds! 🚙🐕⏲️ (Lesson Only)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 вер 2024
- Our days are alive with sound. In this English lesson I'll help you learn words for common sounds that we hear every day. Maybe you hear a car honk, a dog bark, or a car running. I will talk about the name of the sound, and I'll also help you learn the most common phrases we use when talking about that sound.
In this English lesson you'll learn words and phrases like: a person chewing, a knock at the door, a toilet being flushed, a door being slammed, a doorbell ringing, the whir of a fan, someone driving in, a smoke alarm going off, a car honking, a bird chirping, footsteps on the floor, a chair creaking, and many more.
I hope you enjoy this English class about common sounds. Have a great day!
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

Nice and very informative lesson but one thing, do we call it buzzy radio when it has an poor signal issue? Buzzy or crackling radyo, which one is True?
I believe that all of your students who watched your channel in the past they're current being good speakers I hope

You’re brilliant at making sounds 👏👏👏
These types of your lessons are my favourite because they increase my vocabulary and there is a red chain that connect the words of the group. They are very useful for me. Thank you
Thank you for your lession!
I was surprised that it is called "Alarm going off" when the alarm starts, because for me it sounds like the alarm ends, I turn the alarm off.
When I looked it up it seems like you can say "the alarm going off" when it starts and when it ends. Quite confusing for me. 😅
Hello Mr. Bob! I hope you are doing great. I heard you during the video saying “if I was to say…” when do we use this expression sir?
Yeah the sound of rain is good. Not making a chewing sound is considered polite here, too. Maybe people feel in the same way.
I love your lessons so much! Thank you 🙏🏻
You forgot ambulances and police cars
I appreciate u , really u are take a perfect strategy to teach us , I am learning a lot of stuff with u , when I watch your video I enjoy with your information u are not gonna bother us wise like u make some fun to us
I think at some points the actual names of the sounds are replaced by the causes that make the noise. 5:57 Does a door whose hinges are not oiled make a creaking sound?
I am one fan of you I am always watch your videos but I have a little bit problem in speaking section I need your help and I hope you will donate with me 😊
