Recently I passed out in B.tech ECE from a Tier 100 types college. In my college only 2 students from my ece dept got selected in TCS. Rest was unplaced. I was the dept topper. People started humiliating me. I was totally depressed. I still remember those sleepless nights. One thing I was very sure that I have potential. And as the placement was zero in my campus so I started looking for off campus . My CV got shortlisted in many of the companies. I am also a data analyst Aspirants . Finally apna tume aaya,I got job offers from TCS, CTS . My learning from this phase is always keep focusing and one day your time will come for sure .Always have a plan is very necessary. I started figuring out why I was unplaced. I started working on them .And finally got succeed

I was unplaced after my MBA from IIT Bombay. I was unable to crack GDs. Even though my GPA was decent. The bottom 10% are never placed even if they have good GPAs. Some companies offer salaries as low as 2.7 LPA. Some students are getting less than their pre-MBA salaries, so their MBA degree is wasted. Bottom 25% means your degree is wasted. I am making just 3 LPA selling INSURANCE. My colleagues from tier 4 or below colleges are making more than me.

IIT me log isiliye jana chate hai qki bhai weha ki vibes alag hai + opportunity bhut jyada hai lekin agar ni hua IIT toh koi tension ki baat ni hai bhai normal hai qki 10lakh baacho me sirf 5-6 hazar seats hi hai IIT me .Its totally normal ki you are not in IIT but it is not normal if you don't work for it.

This happened with me after btech. I focused on gate and ese in 3rd and 4th year and ignored placements. Did not even check mails from placement cell. Then I failed in gate and ese attempts and had nothing at the end of 7th sem. Due to covid no company came for placements which used to come in 8th semester. "Berozgar" ka tag laga liya apne upar aur khud hi depress karti rahi apne aap ko. But finally got placed in a company which was actually very below my expectation. Joined it. Worked for 8 months to realize that core branch ki private company ki job badi bekar hai. Isse better mba karo aur corporate me hi jao

Hello, Everyone.Sahil here, I am completing my bachelor's of technology in 2022 from madan mohan malviya UT. My grades are very low(6.5). I have no plan for the future.My GATE exam was very bad.I didn't prepare for it. My brother,who was very hopeful for my success is disheartened by my poor academics and performance. But I am not going to lose hope.I will change myself and my future. I am thinking of preparing for GATE once more through a different stream(computer science). Its takes great courage to put yourself out here like this. I commend you for that. My situation was also very similar to you. I passed from nitk surathkal with mtech in industrial pollution control. Didn't get placed and didn't find any jobs outside for more than a year. but I found a sales job in a Chinese company and from there I moved to a German company. I wouldn't say I don't have regrets but I didn't dwell too much on my failures. HRs typically ask such questions in which you'll fall within a loop. I also faced such loophole type HR questions in TCS
part of it is mistake, part is luck... Bad times don't last if you are patient enough to let it pass.

Its takes great courage to put yourself out here like this. I commend you for that.
My situation was also very similar to you. I passed from nitk surathkal with mtech in industrial pollution control. Didn't get placed and didn't find any jobs outside for more than a year. but I found a sales job in a Chinese company and from there I moved to a German company. I wouldn't say I don't have regrets but I didn't dwell too much on my failures. We have to move on fast from that and start working on something positive, change the way we r doing things to get a different result.
