GG Sam !! Thanks for sharing. Very cool attack with that opposite castling, always fun to see those ideas of claiming space early on :) I guess after g5-h4 he couldn't hope for more than a draw already.
Great game and great video! One question: at 5:14 you say that Qg4 is a computerish move. While I agree It's less natural than taking on g7, why do you think it's so unintuitive?
Good Q: I'm probably a bit biased because I know it's a computer move, but I think there's a strong inclination to DO something when I've saced and feel time is pressing. Qg4 is fairly patient which doesn't trouble computers, but I think almost any human choosing not to retake the piece would want to capture on g7 unless they see ...Nb4!!
@@sam_copeland I understand, Sam. But if you'll ever have the time to create a new series: "Best games of the 2020's", then you already got one game... 🙂
Excellent made. Congratulation. This video is in both cases excellent. In the video itself and in the brillant game also. This was well deserved. This attack was great. I like also Nf5
The shitty thing about being a GM is EVERY. SINGLE. TIME that you lose a game, you star in a new UA-cam video the following week... 😂 No one ever does videos about my games! Well, unless it's to teach you what to not do.
Brilliant game sam❤.Excellent playing style like Nazmadinov
I love how you just ingnored all of his attacks and didnt care about winning the rook

Wow! Speechless. And happy to see you back again!
Cheers! It's been hard to find time to work on UA-cam with a young family, but I hope to find more time :)
