Erm I think the jumbo fretwire is having more of an effect on the playability than the radius. Yet he doesn’t mention the guitar has 6100 fretwire. Why do companies never talk about fretwire. It’s one of the most purchase critical things for any seasoned player. Far more than radius will be.
I purchased my '62 Vintage Reissue Fender Stratocaster brand new the first year they came out. If memory serves it was December of 1982, or maybe January 1983. I custom-ordered her black body. (I wanted a black Strat like David Gilmour can be seen playing in the film Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii.) My understanding is that Fender wanted to redeem their reputation at the time, so they introduced the extremely well-made '57 and '62 Vintage Reissue series. How does the quality of the early Vintage Reissue Strats compare to the custom shop models currently available?
@Reid James I agree. But this is a deliberate choice to go for 12. So it's not a re-issue, but a modernised design. There is nothing wrong with it. But people looking for a re-issue aren't looking for a 12.
The music playing when the man speaks about the guitar sounds like old blues and is annoying for a couple of reasons. It makes it harder to hear the description of the guitar and it suggests that the guitar is used for that type of music. He says the board is veneer- but doesn't explain what that means. I do agree that the fiesta red is nice with rosewood.
Hi! Sorry for that, there’s definitely been a learning curve with the making of our videos. Now, we would love to hear your feedback on our latest uploads! - Regarding the veneer it means the type of laminated Rosewood cut fretboards got in that era of Fender as opposed to the earlier thicker slab.
what Walt Grace did to Dovydas and kick him out of your store was terrible - Owner of Walt Grace was disgusting Dovydas is Ace talent You kicked him out of your store for a trivial reason
Two sides to every story. If only you knew Walt Grace’s… besides, if you ever actually went to the store you’d know how professional and sweet everyone is.

This model uses 47095 fret wire, NOT the 6100.

Custom shop is often much better!😀

is it my eyes or is that guitar pink?
It’s a pale red. So yes, it’s your eyes.
