Can you test the stacking effect of repair shops? I've long thought capturing multiple repair shops does nothing, but while playing 1v7 I captured 4 repair shops and my elite units became almost unkillable. It'd quite interesting to see how much healing each repair shop adds to vehicles.

I have to wonder who thought of a siege unit that can bounce off targets, is anti infantry and be able to melt all structures as fast as lightning and didn't think for a second this isn't OP compared to its Soviet counterparts. Soviets get 3 separate siege units and none of them even came close to Prism Tanks. You could argue Dreadnaught is better than Aircraft carrier and has a massive range advantage compared to Prism Tank, but at least that thing's projectiles can be stopped.

Prism tank will be here to stay, regardless of how mental omega changes them.
It also creates a lot of fun for many’s childhood so who cares really…

They are only brutal once promoted...which goes to every other unit in this game to be fair...
A green prism tank is among the most fragile units, slow to attack and they are not exactly cheap either. Also against vehicles they are kinda meh. You could even throw a war miner at it and it destroys it pretty fast while taking superficial damage.
Ohh and you need a battle lab, too.
Blame the promotion system, not the unit. At least later games tried to make it less brutal, though still failed in some ways..like heroic stealth tanks in C&C3...

That's simple. They don't, because prism tanks don't charge each other.

Towers yes, tanks don't do that.
Tanks are more into reflecting their attacks to multiple nearby targets instead of charging one another.
They also lack some component towers do, dunno name but that is the reason why they do poorly against vehicles compared to towers.

@@TheValentineEnemy Fascinating! I wonder if it was deemed too much computation needed for tanks to decide to charge or shoot directly. Or maybe it made their fire rates too slow (since you'd need a group to fire simultaneously).
