Brilliant video 5 minutes from were I live I drive a bus all around that bloody mountain every day 🤣🤣🤣 plus Iam getting my giant rein e+0 Saturday not done Snowdon for 12 years on a bike there's so much hidden trails here with zero people
Omg this is just what I needed guys this rangers trail has always been a dream of mine to ride on my hardtail Jim I think after watching you guys I’m actually going to find the confidence to have a crack at it thank you so much for this absolute cracking vlog it’s great to see just how dedicated use guys are this is and always will be the best family mtb channel on UA-cam
Me too! Legs for suspension, tiny narrow bars, skinny 26” wheels for added excitement and cantilever brakes for a howling noise to warn everyone you were not in charge…..
"still my little boy and I don't want him to get hurt" - echoing my own thoughts every ride, my lad is Todd's age and crashes a lot.. looking forward to doing this ride with him one day.
Yes lads 👍👍 did this a month ago in all that heat on a regular bike 😂 glad it was breezy at the top. I got some grief of a walker but it was at 9.00 so I couldn't understand why, anyway some people just get pissed at anything 😂.
Would love to do this one day, walked up 3.5 times, beaten back by the snow the first time! Don't know if my old body could take the early start though? Just need a bike good enough to take those hits as well! As far as I know, it's the local riders that agreed on the summer riding times to save being banned altogether. It might be worth trying to see where they also ride - the Glyder Fawr might be even tougher!?
Sir take your motor casing to an engineer and have them make you a metal skid plate... Will be hella stronger and if made for aluminium will be lighter... and look cool as hell...
Snowdon is great for walking and the views etc and it's good to tick off the bucket list but in my humble opinion it's just not worth the effort...with Revs and Dyfi just down the road with much more of the Gnar factor.
@@PinnedTV for sure ....took me 2 hours to push walk up on a normal bike for about 10 ...12 mins of not much Gnar down the rangers , telegraph valley run . Like I said it's brilliant for walking and being in the outside etc and I'm glad I done it but defo can't be arsed again .
Hi guys I hope u can help me. In a few weeks I'm going to be setting the guineas world record for the most climbs with a bike within 24 hours (no ebikes allowed). All money raised will be for help for heroes. Nearer the time can u give me a shout out to divert ppl to the donation page? Thanks

Oh really, love to be shown round if they’re not too hooky!!
I done this the rangers path back in 2018. What a brilliant run. And super weekend.

Ah thanks man
It was interesting to see how much it has changed , I did it in the late 80's on a cross country bike fully ridged with canty brakes.
Shit, bet that was rough!
hes still shaking now

Fair play getting up there on a regular bike mate! Should have given them the 🖕😂
Did this last month, the only views were clouds! Didn’t hang around at the top for long

Ah that’s interesting, know a few from round there
Where was that carpark you eventually found or is there a better one some place. Looks worse than I imagined. Gotta be done though. ✔️
In Llanberis

Good idea! Cheers
How long did it take to get to the top please?
About an hour I think? Was a while ago!

Totally different type of ride mate

No idea, ages ago! 😂
Surely the plastic should be more durable than that.. 😳
Rather that than my frame, new one is different design, so they’ve addressed it!
