Great overview Robot. On the key positions, that setting which excludes the steering lock could have saved my super sport. A thief forced the steering lock open damaging the frame (before realising the big chain locking the wheel made theft a non runner). Steering & key barrel were clunky. Had a temporary fix for a few months but eventually the welding gave up - bike would have required a completely new frame. Would love to get another Vespa, but would only leave it locked up _without_ the steering lock engaged... or go vintage :)
Mine was a 2009 GTS 250. I loved everything about it except for the kickstand. I had to almost lift the bike to pull it up on the stand, it was a pain literally. Glad to see there is an easy kickstand now.
Hope they've sorted the rust problem underneath. Over here in England mine is 4 years old and quite rusty and I really take care of it. Really poor underneath.

Thanks for the great video. Here in Germany a 2018 GTV limited edition model called the "Sei Giorni" is being offered. Do you know if they will also hit the American market? Are there any downsides of the GTV vs the GTS?
I've seen some advertising for the 2018 Vespa GTS 300 Touring ASR and Touring ABS --- are these a variation of the base GTS, or is simply a marketing phrase? I thought all GTS came with ABS and ASR. Thanks.

*Vespa Motorsport* Is the engine 300cc or 150cc?. Also please forgive my ignorance, but is it a four or two stroke?. The reason I ask is I've seen owners simply refueling straight from the bowser. I intend to look seriously at buying a new Vespa 300 GTS. Love the yellow, but not in a matt colour. One could I suppose, overcoat it with a few coats of clear later. Anyhow thanks in advance for any help you can give. Cheers...

I was told by the UK rep that they reduced the rake, so could revert to the old front suspension but without the wobble.
Be interesting if we could see the dyno numbers between last years model 300 versus this new euro 2018 model.
