We need to remember that in life we don’t get what we want when we want it. And sometimes we never get what we want, but God has a reason why he keeps us from getting what we want. We need to put our faith in God and know that we are better for not getting what we want. God allows adversity to come into our life to make us a better and stronger person. But the choice is up to us if we are going to trust God or not when we go through that adversity. Do we trust God that we are better for the adversity that God is allowing us to go through or will we choose to become bitter about the adversity we are going through? The choice is up to each one of us. When I got a phone call informing me that I had cancer, my 1st thought was, Please tell me you got the wrong person or the wrong diagnosis. When wasn’t the case my 2nd thought was, OK God, how do we get through this together? Not only did I survive cancer but a blood bacteria too. And I had a stroke a few years before getting cancer.
I am surviving a molecular rare disease due to the music and love the Smallbones have shared through their faith and musical talents.
I love the powerful message that this song shows. "Even when I can't, you still love me like I am." It, to me, means that no matter how low I am or how unappreciated I feel, God loves me no matter what and I can come to him, just as I am. Amen. Praying for the people in Florida that they make it out of this storm safe.
There was a time my Aunt Rona played this specific song because i asked her what was her favorite song and she played "Love me like I Am". I asked her if she could play "What Are We Waiting For?" and she said she couldn't. She played KLove back on the radio and after one song had played, "What are we waiting for?" played right after. I will never forget that moment.❤ For King And Country is Rona's favorite artist.
His grace and mercy is beyond and hard to fathom but he loves everyone of us scars and all!!!!!

I read about Abraham and Issac today for my verses to read in my Bible. Abraham was willing to sacrifice his own son when God told him too. How often do we refuse to give up things and people God tells us too? We do things our way and not Gods way. We need to trust God with every area of our lives and hold nothing back from God.
