The more i sent money, the more dependent entitlement and annoying they became. I started building my houses instead and quit sending long time
People with no vision and work ethics will help you lose all your money. Just give excuses, and always complain about not having money and keep on saving secretly for tomorrow.
Too much stress associated with that. Just tell them you are not in a position to sacrifice your future so they have money. It's difficult to do but the real family and friends will be separated from the false and you can go on building your life.
You are so sensible in dealing with issue of sending money to relatives and dependants. Some will just say don't send money at all. Your advice is so considerate.

Fuck that! Why would you stress yourself like that? Use your brain what will you gain if you give them money? Peace? Respect? Love? Answer yourself this question

U are right but u have to know how to balance it.alots of African mothers sacrificed ao much for their family because they want to see their children do well.they sacrificed so much for the family so it is only good for u to take care of them.some parents even sell their landed property to send the children for study know that when it is well with u it also be will with them so it will be evil for u to feel that u can't sacrifice for ur parents because u have got ur own immediate family.they didn't have to sacrifice so much to send u abroad,they also sacrifice because of the love they have for u.i know relattions can be so entailed so with them u have to set boundaries if not they will run u dry and still not appreciate what u do for them

Alots of u that have strong opinion with this African tax never came from a loving home.probaly u copied ur selfishness from ur perants.u probably have seen them neglecting their parents so u don't know better.i rest my case.there is a root cause to every action and to every action there is equal and opposite reaction,maybe that is what is affecting most of u.
i started to watch your channel out of the blue and tried to listen hard to understand your accent, but some words i can understand and some not ..the reason i can understand some words is because i have had an african, nigerian friend...
