So many great memories playing this game in lunch, on the school bus or before classes... I only played the Double + SandWhich rule though. The game would always cause laughter and some red hands... I ended up playing so much that I would start vs 3 people with 0 cards and end up winning. My favorite trick was remembering Doubles. Let's say you slap 5 + 5 and you win the pile. When you cycle through your cards you just remember that when you play a 5 the next will also be a 5 to get an ez slap.
I only ever played with doubles and sandwiches, no top bottom, marriages, or 4 in a row. Plus, penalties for a slap without appropriate cards and being able to slap in if you are out. I loved this game as a kid.
Some Additional rules: The "Slap-In Rule:" Even if you have no cards, you can slap the stack (if possible) to enter or re-enter play. This allows for longer games and more Players. (Usually Played as 'Doubles & Sandwiches Only') The "False Slap Tax" of one card to the bottom of the stack (face down) from the offending Player's pile if their slap wasn't legal. (house rules might dictate two) The "A Player Needs to Leave Rule:" The pile of cards can go to the bottom of the current stack (face down) or to another Player with no pile.
@@MrWillz06 but,,,,, the other slap rules are what make it fun! D: “Sandwiches” require proper attention and recall of previous cards played, and it’s rewarding (even vicariously!) when people successfully get one. 2’s catch you off guard. Once you get it, it’s much easier to play: it’s just a lot harder to explain the rules than it is to simply demonstrate.
Trust me it’s easy to teach to younger ppl, I’ve been able to teach to other people simply by playing it. They’ll get the rules soon enough lmao. It’s easy if you just stick to the sandwich and double rule
We used to play this in the high school cafeteria before class started all the time. There would be different players each day, most of us complete strangers. Yet we’d have a blast each time, cracking jokes and teasing each other as the rounds went on. Good times.
Instead of four in a row I do 3 in a row but doesn’t have to be in the exact order. So 7, 5, 6 would be eligible for a slap. Call this a straight. Also, 3 of any suits in a row is a flush so this is eligible for a slap too. Penalties for hoarding/slapping when you cannot, have to give up a card and cannot slap for 2 full orbits.
This game gets so chaotic, easily one of my favorites

Really takes me back to high school. Which is a long time ago. Now I play Jungle Speed, which is kind of a combination of this and Spoons.

If you slap the pile when it is unable to be slapped, then put 2 cards on the bottom of the pile.
We put all our cards under
We usually just put 1 card at the bottom of a pile
We used to smash the persons hand with our fist on the table. It worked
@@trainsoandnscale7357 damnnn 🤣
I do 52 cards

this looks hella fun but it's gonna be tough to explain to my younger cousins 😅
I’ve always found the easiest way to learn is just to play dkdjdjdj
To make it easier just always slap on doubles. Don't worry about all those other slap rules

As an Egyptian, that's the first time I heard about this game 😂
انا كمان بس شكلها حلوه

This is one of my FAVOURITE games
My brothers used to play this when they were in high school. Never understood the name but it seems like a cross between war and slap jack...
Love this game. We did doubles, sandwiches, and can on jack+2 (or 2+jack), since jacks are the strongest card. Found a way to make it a lil more fair
We called this “Egyptian Rascals” 😂
This video doesn't mention penalties! If you slap and you're wrong, send two cards face down under the deck.
In the version I play we put one card face up under the deck and we would call it trash. It wouldn't count for top and bottom.
@@hello-nr2jzin the version I play, we call it “burning” a card. c:
@Beesbeeswhatsonthemenu I think I actually remembered it wrong, lmao. We call ot burning a call as well.
@@hello-nr2jz I think we’ve said “TRASH IIIIIIT” at the person burning it, before lmao so that could’ve been where you misremembered LOLOLOL
I loved playing this game in school. But we called it Egyptian rat slap
Thanks, forgot how to play this a year ago and wanted to remember how.
Whooooah, I've only played with Doubles and Sandwiches. @_@
Same here

What’s the chaotic version? 😂 I would say this game will devolve into something more chaotic within minutes
Doubles / sandwich slap to steal the pile.
That’s how you “slap back in” if you’re out
but wouldn't the game go on and on ?
The way I would play it that you only have 1 chance to slap back in, and that chance would be over once another player slaps correctly.
I’ve played it when your just slap on doubles , it gets so fast that you can see sandwiches and other pairs
Played it for the first time, i screamed at school
Love this game
I also play with divorce king and queen seperated gay marriage, gay divorce, cooger=queen jack, hop of tinder- queen jack seperated, king-ace,
If a “Sandwhich” is above other cards under the pile can i still slap it??
Yes, you can
We slapped for sandwiches, pairs, and #2 cards.
I always win this game 😭
We slap on Jack 7
This isn't Yu-Gi-Oh 🫀🃏
