I’m white, but I’m Turkish and I have a big nose that isn’t exactly straight and I hated it for so many years because I thought it was ugly. Nowadays I try to think of it as something I have that connects me to Turkey. I really resonated with what you said and I’m glad you embraced how beautiful you are!

HI Hannah! I hope you continue to get better mentally! I struggled a lot too 3-1 year ago but after therapy, after getting into meditation, after getting into kpop and starting to love myself. A lot of people find journalling helpful to empty their mind, others like to talk to people. Do what works but you, try stuff and see what works for you. try new stuff even if not exacly used to help in these times, for example, this year I started being a multi in kpop and norw I stan 5 beautiful groups and Im such a richer and happpier person!
This looked so satisfying to me and answering the questions made it seem even more genuine and just... relaxing. Yep. What I needed

The fact that you are so honest about your self love journey (or the struggle to self love) is really inspiring! Also, I broke my nose 4 years ago, and its been a struggle to love the new shape it is. If you can get there, than I guess I can too! :)

Growing up as a Pakistani-American in Texas, I never really thought about how my nose looked. I was more worried about my hair (before I started wearing a hijab) and my weight, but never really about my nose and it’s just so strange to hear other people who are ethnic, like me, have that as one of their major insecurities. I always joked as a child that my nose looked like a witch’s nose (I was dumb, if you can tell XD) b/c it was always so narrow and pointy, but I never really took it much to heart and never really thought of it as something that I would wanna ever change.
However, I’m really glad that you’re starting to accept your natural features and love yourself. I think that’s empowering, and you should continue being you, Hannah. 😊

A suggestion for the books you didn't know what to do with: you could stack them in a sort've jigsaw/tetris sort of way. I know that sounds crazy and complicated, but i did it because i just needed room real quick while i was reorganizing my own shelves, and after fiddling with them, it turned out really cool looking. Course, you need the right books to do it - the mass market paperbacks worked really well personally, and it created more room to store other books.
Don't have to do it, just a creative idea to crew on. The books you did reorganize looked really really good, by the way!

Same with the restaurant thing. Places are technically open around my neighborhood, and people are wearing masks, tables are socially distanced, but I mean....it's being inside for however long with a bunch of strangers, ventilation or circulated air (I don't know what I'm talking about), but the Hubby and I have been mainly ordering pizza or eating stuff from the grocery store. We miss it, but neither of us are gonna risk it.
