Thank you Sally!... I am more than happy to find your videos. I am in the process to take again the Duolingo test, and you Sally are the best giving tips, practices, examples on how to work during the test. I will try again test in some days, and I feel I will be more prepared now than in my previous 2 tries where I did not get the score I was expecting (115 ).
Thanks for the video. I needed a new icebreaker exercise for a new student I'm teaching. This is a fun, interactive way to test most of the skills right from the beginning. Cheers
Hi mam. I got my result yesterday. Ihave required score also. I would like to express my gratitude for helping me to get this excellent result 👍 Thank you❣️
Thank you Sally, I am watching your videos many times per day. I am trying to improve my score in Duolingo, I have tried twice (105 and 110) but I still haven't be able to get the score I need :( (115) Your videos are very helpful.
@@TeacherSally The Conversation section is my weakness. I need to improve my listening and speaking, also I need to use an advanced vocabulary. I feel hard try to get that score, I know I'm close but I cannot improve much. But I'm still trying :)
@@natalyhidalgo1367 The speaking sections are hard. It's hard to think that fast! I think there are a couple of options for boosting the score. You could work on a section that's not your best but not your worst. My thought is that if you're already fairly good at it, then it may be easier to boost up a bit. The other option is to pick one of your weaker skills to focus the most effort on. Good luck! I know you can do it!!
It was helpfull, many time ago I was looking for this kind of dictate, I saw that I have many problems with the identification of past times. I'm almost not even to listen those "ed" sometimes, just when I got totally the context actually, at least I got the most of the words. I hope to keep working with this channel.

Would you please make a video with such resources and materials that we can cope up with the difficulty level of the real test, mam? And thanks for everything you are trying to help us with.

Hello Ms. Sally, thanks for help us to improve our English. In the question number 4 it has a mistake because at the first time you said the word "eating" but a the end in the answers you didn't say it. could you check it please.
Excelente práctica. Muchas gracias por compartir. En "More than half of students AT the school are recent immigrants". Me cuesta escuchar el "at", parece decir "of" en el minuto 7. Tengo que afinar más el oído.
Hi Sally you are doing really great job for that who are struggling for duolingo test. I have a request ,could you make videos dictation practice according to duolingo dictations like three time repeat in one min?.
Excuse me, a question. Is this practise useful to improve what exaclty? and plus, is this practise positive to improve any level? From the beginning to the advaced? Let me know if you can !!! In the meantime, I subscribe your channel. Very productive one!
Most of the videos on my channel so far are specifically for an English test called the Duolingo English Test. These are specific to that test, but practicing the questions is also useful for general English practice. I am planning some upcoming videos that are not specific to a particular test. Thank you for subscribing to my channel. You can also request any specific video types that you’d like me to make 😺 welcome to my little UA-cam family!
Hi dear, thanks for your continuous effort and support by replying the answer once we ask question in the comment section. It means really a lot to us and admittedly, i am loving your assistance! Would you mind helping me sort out a problem? While i take a 15 minute sample test, i get 110-135, what does it mean exactly? Do i need to improve lot more? Thanks in advance!
I'm glad you are enjoying my channel and finding my replies helpful! I'm trying to keep up 😉 The practice test score is a range. They say that its a guess of the lowest to highest score you could get on the real test considering the questions and length will be different. Basically, it seems like people usually score in the middle of that number.
Hello there, What will be the best practice to improve my spelling writing ? I have a issues to write a correct spelling when ever I use pen & paper.!let me know how I can remove this error! Thanks
Spelling in English is annoying! I would advise to start by reading through the rules, but. know they don't always work since English borrows words from other languages. This site is a good place to start: grammar.yourdictionary.com/spelling-and-word-lists/spelling-rules.html Another way is to look at commonly misspelled words and learn those: grammar.yourdictionary.com/spelling-and-word-lists/misspelled.html
You won’t be marked down for not putting punctuation, but as to whether or not it gives more points, I really don’t know. It’s a good question. I’ll try to ask them and see if they will respond to me. 😺
Dear Sally, thank you. It is really helpful. Is there any option where i can share my speaking records and writing sections with and if you can comment and evaluate them.

Hii! Mam will i get some points for what i had written as if i am not able to write full sentence because of high vocabulary spoken by them or i missed due to fast pace.??
How many questions are in the listening? How much time we have for writing the answer of listening question? How I write the answer like this, I didn't receive the message in time (but I listen sentence in this form), or, I did not receive the message in time.
As far as how many questions like this, it varies. Some people may only get one dictation question, but others will get more. There isn't a fixed number for any question because the test changes for each person. As I said in the video, you have a minute total for each dictation question and you're right, the answer is "I didn't receive the message in time." If you were to write did not in stead of didn't or didn't in stead of did not, it wouldn't be a big difference, so don't worry too much.
