2019 06 01 - Steamrail Victoria 'Cruise Express' -

Steamrail Victoria ran a private charter tour from Melbourne to Deniliquin via Seymour for one of the Victorian legs of the 'Cruise Express' Great Southern Loop. The train returned to Newport via Bendigo & the empty car transfer was captured at both Bendigo & Castlemaine.
Train #8094 was powered by Steamrail Victoria's oil burning Hudson Class steam locomotive R711 ( Spirit of Bendigo ) built in 1951 + Steamrail Victoria's diesel locomotive S313 ( Alfred Deakin ) built in 1961, along with a number of restored 'Spirit of Progress' carriages.
