Hey man, great video. Just a quick note, 0:48 The microphone itself is the transmitter that connects straight to the pocket 3 body. That little piece is just an extender handle for the grip comfort and for the 1/4″ thread, I don't think it has anything to do with the mic2, unless if you wanna use the usb-c port on the back to connect with other mics & etc. You should edit that part since it's really misleading. Also it comes with the wide angle lens that can come really handy for vlogging.
Thanks for your comments. I was about to ask what if you want to use the extended battery AND the external mic TOGETHER. If extended battery and external mic are one or the other but not both, as this presenter was saying, that would be a very bad design.
Thank you so much for this review, I’m a new blogger myself and your video helped me a lot for my choice. As a student you know we don’t always have 500-900$ to spend on just a camera.
Can the mic still be used while the battery handle is connected instead of the transmitter handle? I think the internal mic audio is pretty good all things considered. The mic gives added clarity because of the external noises being filtered out. But does the mic audio get better while using the receiver? I’m leaning more towards the creator combo than the vlog combo cuz I don’t need the doubled up accessories and some others I don’t need, but I was thinking of getting the receiver.
hello man, I’ve been looking for a tutorial of how to fix pro effects not showing on Capcut, this is my second time wasting money on buying Capcut pro but the effect aren’t showing, maybe do a tutorial next video, I’d really appreciate it
Outdoor-wise the Mic sounds good but indoor-wise the DJI OP3 works fine! (Might be because of the wind). Cannot wait to get my OP3 Creator Combo tmr and bring it on my upcoming trip to Bangkok! 😄

bit of a crap design isn't it , you can't use the battery extender and the mic extender receiver at the same time ??? it seems you can only plug-in one or the other ?
Kinda rude. People can't control what's going on with their skin, trust me I've tried everything for mine, so should he not make videos? Maybe don't mess with his self-esteem like that.

yeah you can use both, since that piece is NOT a mic extender receiver whatever he's saying lol, it's just an extender grip. The mic alone is the transmitter and the pocket 3 itself is the receiver.
100% worth, im using all this stuff and its really amazing and just with extra money u can get much more then it costs
super cool that they've bundled these together - DJI is always making the best moves!

@@ruiyuandong1398 yeah you can clearly use the extended battery and the external mic (dji mic2) together.
Thank you! just asked this question and deleted it!

internal mic sounds good indoors, better than the wireless mic.
Wireless mic sounds better outdoors, better than the internal audio. Very peculiar.
Definitely on my bucket list this Black Friday.
this video sealed the deal for me.
I will be buying the creator combo in some time, and i will remember to buy using your link.
Your audio test was at one of my secret fishing spots lol 🤣🤣 it’s a rare spot with fish u can’t normally find in ponds
youre giving Super villian vibes ! lol
@@arejays6701 Hello
Good video. I am still on the fence between the basic and creator.. The battery is $90 so the mic is $60... The rest is like "whatever"
Nice
Amazing Review man! Keep up the work 🐐
Can you use the extra battery then add the mic adapter under that ??
Can you use different mics or does it have to be that mic specifically will it connect to other mics?
Awesome short video for the Osmo Pocket 3! 🎉
Great review 🎉 it was sponsored and sold. You're doing it right 👍
You didn’t even mention the wide angle lens
What about the battery duration during recording with and without the battery extender?
*I bought the base model because I had the Mic and the other accessories*
Do you regret it ? Because I can go with my own mic (boya BV-V20) or the creator is really a must ?
Can the mic still be used while the battery handle is connected instead of the transmitter handle?

Yes! It will just use bluetooth instead of the 200m ish range.
Or just sync the audio later in post and record directly on the mic.

Does the mic work with an iphone ?
yes

This or Sony ZV-1 II?
i went with this as its cheaper and looks smoother
the mics cool to have you could use it as a secret mic lol
Did i just watch a 1080p video in 2024??
First comment i’ve gotten on that haha
@@CollinMichael most people watch UA-cam on their phones and doesn’t notice how bad it is. I got a 43” 4k monitor, 1080 looks trash on it.
This OP3 is great but I can’t spend over $600 when I can just use my iPhone 15 Pro Max.
OP3 is way better than any flagship phone in the market including your iPhone 15 Pro Max

@@videditorEB1 you don’t need tracking to make a good video. I use my hands and feet move around to get my different angles
