One thing I started doing after watching this video was Line 1 (Behind Net) Line 2 (Overload) Line 3 (Behind Net) Line 4 (Overload), It helps me recognize my opponents playstyle fast with just a few line changes and without me having to switch strats on the fly. Once I recognize which is working best, I just switch my strategies accordingly
for some reason I suck in nhl20 compaired to 19. I just don't seem to be bale to control the puck longer then 1 shot or a 1-timer.. Of course I could be cheesy and lower settngs but that aint me. So here I am head all lowered like a bitch
Q. 11:23 your Mario is opening between blue and red line behind the enemy lines. Is his opening is a result of the strategy or just his personal skill? Q2. Very important thing is to attack after pressure in your own zone. Most of the players using aggressive fore-check in your zone. What tactic could help to brake through this pressure? Total noob at this game and console. Your tips are helping me get better and better. Started cycling the puck more than just blasting from the point and trying to get 2 on 1s. Appreciate the effort you put in your videos for people like me that don't have the thumb skills. I only play offline for obvious reasons and have made it to vs Semi-Pro. I can win but not always get 5 goals. I upgraded players and it's helped get me my first plus 5 victory. Thanks buddy, you rock !
Also tbh I rly disagree with the trap vs forecheck slider. I have tried all the way both ways, and I like trap much more. It allows be to always have players back checking, which helps to shut down the other guys break out immensely. Agree on the rest tho
I personally keep all the settings the same during my matches but when on the powerplay or once I get in the lead I will usually switch my forchecking to " press " which allows for my offensive players to press on the forecheck without taking useless penalites as when you switch offensive pressure to " aggressive " which can be annoying.
So I’m always playing with a friend of mine. And he plays VERY aggressive. Every time I touch the puck I’m getting my head taken off. I’ve tried short passes and he ends stealing them. I’ll be lucky if I get 10 shots on goal. Any tips ??
Hold onto the puck and move left and right. If he is always running at you, all you have to do is just wait him out, if he is legit right in your face every time you touch the puck, do the one touch dekes just tapping L1

How often are you using the right stick when skating around? I have just been using it to shoot. If I try and use it just when skating around, I always end up shooting accidentally. Is the right stick essential for skating around? Yes.... I'm a noob and super frustrated! I'm having trouble creating space and getting alot of turnovers! I lose the damn puck in the zone over and over! Also, how often and when are you using the X button to protect the puck? I can't take sucking anymore!
I’ve been playing a week or so but what game mode can u create your own team and then use that team in HUT?? Like where I can pick mascot, arena etc...... loove your vids man helped me out a lot brotha I subbed can u do a video on how to not get your players outta wack and what players cover what players and when and why maybe lol I played real hockey for ten years so I understand tic tag toe plays I was a center so but for new people it might help thanks brotha

The circling of the AI players and explaining what they do in certain set ups is money. I remember the first time some one showed me similar stuff on Madden like how to identify man or zone coverage. It really improved the way I played. This is going to help a lot of people.
I’m just starting playing online and it seems like people always take away the cross ice one-timer which works great in season mode against ai. What’s the best way to exploit them taking that away?

I think video is useful but not complete. What about other settings, such as player energy slider which is very important in offense/defense, cycle or shot, zone entry, set plays etc.. Waiting for your video about strategies part 2 since you uploaded only part 1 and also, how to such less at defense. Cheers...

Cole Lemay defense is impossible to play user controlled. Ai is capable of defending saucer passes with ease despite not even looking at the puck yet I can’t stop a flat pass when I user control my guy despite being in perfect position.
Charlie Daniels yea me to but my ai are never in position to block cross creases I’m tempted to go skill zone cause why am I gonna keep doing what doesn’t work
If he gave you an icon player hed have to do it to every other viewer who asks. As such, he can't do it. Not to mention, the players are pretty expensive.

What camera settings are you using? As I can see you can easily see whole attack zone.
The camera angle he is using is zone , when playing competitively zone and overhead are usually the 2 best

@@user-ch1jg7mq6v use LT when the pu ck is floating by your players and they will mostly stop it. It is way harder to get the passes accross this year
