    Coming down that steep climb, I would be scooting on my bum a lot of the way, amazing how the bum can become a very useful appendage!

      It was so so steep but it was a very quick climb - worth it for the views!

    In the last 10 years this track has improved a lot. When i went up every weekend as a kid, no steps no chain to help you up. No solid fence just a wire rope to keep you back lol.

    Please don’t go up and down the sand dune please use the stairs a little bit further around toward paratutu rock try to preserve the dune, thanks from a local

    Nice I loved the video I climbed it same month XD same year too I do have a recommendation is to go to vertical horizons in Inglewood somewhere it has cool stuff there search it

      Oh another? this is a bit far but it's in the coromandel, there is a vintage train you can ride in wiahi and there is a gold mine which is really old called gold mine experience in Thames. Hope some of those helped also those are both in the coromandel

    What a pair of Pollyannas. You climb the mountain and your first words are "the views are amazing". The first thing I see is an oil refinery. Guess that makes me a cynic.
