Dirt Rally 1's visuals have aged pretty well compared to the 2 later games, especially EA Sports WRC in comparison. The replay camera angles are so exhilarating to watch. The angle of the bonnet constantly shaking and bumping while moving just gives me shivers down my spine and yet I don't get tired watching those. Such an incredible game.
2.0 had a very overdone look to me, very bloomy, artificial colours. Dirt Rally was much more muted but looked nice... especially in lower-light conditions
@@msum23 Wales is definitely my favorite stage visually. Also the rain is so strange in DR 2.0 and EA Sports WRC which its even worse. DR1 is so much better especially when the rain drops are falling towards you when moving accordingly.
Let's goo finally Dirt Rally content! Man I thought exactly I was the only one still playing it, I can't find a Subreddit or Discord of it anywhere either haha. But am glad to see some more content of it.... And btw on UA-cam there are not many vids of it either, high time I make some content of it myself then haha
@@AmbientMike Yeah that's what i'm saying, the force feedback and grippier handling gives the cars a heavy feel, in EA Sports WRC they just glide on top of the road like feathers rather than actually biting into the ground with the tire
@@TheManOfManyBroccolis Creating a tire model that works across snow, ice, gravel, mud, tarmac of various other surfaces isnt easy. Id say the historics could use work but majority of the modern AWD cars feel great to me.
I brought DiRT Rally a couple of days ago and I'm happy to see that this game is still active around here
Progress in WRC games is so slow it might be close to none.
Best co-driver voice in videogames, no cap.
Absolutely, he has a real sense of urgency without becoming difficult to follow when things get hectic.
So happy to see that Im not the only one playing :D
There's a lot of people that not only plays DiRT Rally nowadays, but DiRT 2 & 3 as well

Maybe I'm old, but I love DiRT Rally much more than modern EA WRC, even a bit more than DR 2.0 😄
This game is amazing, isn't it Henrik?
how did you make the beginning without animation? but supposedly you drove up to the starting line yourself, how to turn it on?
Love this game

I play in third :)
MAD SKILLZ BRUH
Do you ever compete in any competitions?
I actually made a very similar vid not too long ago, and i love the game and the car, still feels better to drive than DR 2.0 or EA Sports WRC
I totally disagree. Nice to have cars with weight to them.
