Great info about finding expired domains Nathan. However, suggesting 301 redirect of an expired domain is extremely risky (and outdated) SEO technique that can do a lot of damage. If the expired domain has been penalized in the past, redirecting it to a money site will pass the penalty to it (happened to me once). So I strongly suggest for everyone avoiding direct 301 redirect from expired root domain to the money site (unless you are absolutely certain that it's clean).
It's risky if you do it wrong. That's why vetting is critical

This might be a moot point, but do you take into consideration the Spam Score from SEMRush when interpreting data, or have you found ahrefs is sufficient?

Some people recommend to 301 redirect to a buffer site instead of redirecting it directly to the money site, what do you think about this method?
I bought a domain with a good rating. After the purchase, I use moz to check the value of the domain. But it says that website has better value if it is (www). But my domain is non www. Would this be a problem?

i'm finding this tool to be great to find domains, but when i am waiting for the domain to drop so i can buy it it gets bought by domaindroppers before the domain is available to buy, which is very annoying.

Sir this is bhavna from western australia ... I am a huge fan of yours…..I bought an expired domain and set up my blog on that ....the problem is the name of the domain is already there when i bought it...the focus of the domain is agriculture ...the domain name indicates agriculture....my blog focus is agriculture but what about branding....i cannot use the domain name to do branding as it is an american expired site the original owners may have some hold on it still. please advise. The expired domain has some good things about it which is why i bought it. No-one has talked about this aspect (how to manage the existing name of domain because we cannot change it) kindly either give me a reply or talk about it in a video.

Hey! Nathan just wanted to know that all the expired domains found on spamzilla are mostly http and not https so when we buy it and converts it to https all the backlinks are lost. How to find domains with https instead of http. I'm really confused if it matters or not need your opinion on this. It'll be a great help. Thank you!
Hey Rakesh, that's the case with every expired domain (if they previously had an SSL certificate). The links aren't lost through a 301 redirect. The only downside is that you'll have to get hosting for the domain. Hostgator offers free SSL certificates

I tried many times to get my recuring billing stopped, but they ignored my requests. I had to go through the bank to get Charge-backs. The bank sent them a Notice to stop the billing, but they still tried to take money!!
