If you sell on your domain on a platform like GoDaddy Auctions/Premium or Sedo, they will take care of the transfer. But if you privately sell a domain and want to transfer a domain, I'd advise to contact your registrar and ask them how that would work in your scenario.
@@JonasNielsen thanks Jonas, really help. for now i am little bit confused, do i need to choose an expired domain or register new domain with catchy name, do you have suggestion? thanks
@@ranggakcs You just need to register a domain. Technically it doesnt matter if it's expired or "new". The thing about expired domains is that those are usually more valuable because a lot of the good ones are already registered. Question > I have found very old domain on flippa like 15 years 18, or 20 years and bit was 1 Dollar or 5 dollars....I am still confused that very old domain in almost free.????

Just wondering, why would you send an advertisement of your domain to a business that already has their own website? Shouldn't you be looking for businesses that don't have a website yet?

Dear Jonas, great video! How do I verify my godaddy domain for sedo? I dont understand the verification process. The id which sedo produces I paste in go daddy, but some other things (@, 3600) dont work... Kind regards, Eberhard
For most domains I recommend listing on GoDaddy/Afternic as a "Premium" domain. Also put a "For sale" lander on your domain (you can use GoDaddy's very easily) and so when people search your domain on GoDaddy or even go to your URL, they'll be able to see the price and either purchase it right away, or call a Afternic representative.
I don’t really understand if I pay for a domain name for a yearly fee of say 10$ and then sell it for say 1000$ does the person/company have to pay 1000$ a year to me or to the domain name provider I originally bought it from? Or is that a one off payment to me ? Do they carry on my payments to the original seller or do I carry on paying the 10$
You pay the domain registrar the yearly $10 fee, and yes the $1000 sale is a one-time transaction to whoever sold the domain (you ie.) - depending on where you list your domain for sale the website (GoDaddy, Sedo, etc) will take a small commission from the sale. Hope that makes sense.
@@JonasNielsen Right thanks, what do they then pay in subsequent years to renew the domain? Does that revert to the original renewal price of 10$ or whatever the renewal price changed to under the terms of the original 10$ sale? Isn’t there a massive danger that you are stuck with a load of domain names that you have paid for and continue to pay for each year if no one wants to buy them?
Yes, the renewal fee is always the same apprx. 10 bucks for dot com domains. As for a 'massive danger' to be stuck with a load of domain names that didn't sell in a year, sure, it's part of the game, but a certain percentage of your domains will sell and so when it's time to renew you can choose to renew or not renew. Part of the domain flipping game.
Ah, ok kind of makes sense now thanks, I suppose it’s a bit of a gamble, but I guess the application of intelligence and logic with a little research should hopefully yield results and the barrier for entry is very low if you were to start off with just say 10 domains. I’m also considering starting my own domain name company but initial costs and yearly license fees to ICANN seem prohibitively expensive! Thanks again for your advice 😀

Not at all. However, you can sell a website with a domain which has a significant amount of traffic already, maybe even with affiliate links f.ex. This is more like selling a business. Great video. One question I had is about the domain being expired - you mentioned it a couple of times. Is the thinking behind the expiration that it is more valuable because the original owner may want to buy it back? In addition to the keyword value?
Looking for expired domains is simply an approach that helps you find great domains easier. Since expired domains have already previously been purchased indicates that there is some demand for those... hard to explain, but in short, it doesn't matter if it's expired or not, as long as you find a great domain that can be sold for higher than you purchased it.

Of course not you can flip it the second after you’ve bought it
@@HeroHondenbrok010 I've been sitting on this domain that can only be sold on dynadoot until the 60 days are over. It has an estibot value of $6700 and I'm trying to get rid of it asap. Any tips to promote/ quickly sale it?
@@nathanb7018 Domain name?
@@HeroHondenbrok010 peterborough.us
It's a premium domain that gets 80k google searches per month I feel like if I find the right buyer I could sell it quick but I just don't know how to promote it or show it to buyers other than dynadot marketplace.
Hi good presentation
I need to do this business.
How can i get this software?
Thank you. You can get the software here: www.marketingwithjonas.com/get-pr-rage
i have dynadot domain.. but i dont know selling domains... help plz
do you think ilike.domains is a good one do sell?
Do you need to have a website set up in order to sell the domains? I’m sure it helps to have something presentable. But is it necessary?
Not at all. However, you can sell a website with a domain which has a significant amount of traffic already, maybe even with affiliate links f.ex. This is more like selling a business. You will have to disclose the earnings before the deal is sealed.
A website does not add to the value of a domain, if its just for the sake of presentation.
yup a website like jio healthy com works , amazing
@@mottedreissig7874 yea
Thank you! This was very helpful!
Thanks bro
How i know which domain is good to buy?

hey, I would like to enroll in his program, but my payment didn't go through. Do you know why? or can you recommend somebodyelse please ?
There can be many reasons. As you didn't specify the error you got, I don't know why it didn't go through. Maybe try a different card or use PayPal?
@@JonasNielsen no error, just got a frozen screen . I have tried pay trough paypal - using mobile browser and windows as well.
I hear some people have problems paying on mobile. My best advice is try to pay via computer using the Chrome browser
so I have bought privacy on godaddy, but I couldn't sell it because I had privacy. So you think it's better not to buy security feature?
or just sell somewhere else ?
Abs awesome bro 😎
How to verify the DNS
How quickly on average to these domain names tend to sell?
it takes time and is very hard to find good names, not worth invest time in 2020.
Think as u selling on eBay
@@dr.gerrard8349 Well, not for u . Than you here ?
Hi Jonas, It’s interesting video, I am starting the domain flipping, but I am asking of the software you mentioned “PR Rage” is it worth it to buy and depend on?
Very much worth it. Just the bonus interviews are so insightful for a beginner that this alone is worth it imo. The software itself is solid and I highly recommend it. You should get it brother.
Jonas Nielsen Thanks, one more question, do I need the OTO’s?
Jonas Nielsen I purchased the software, waiting for your recommendation of OTO’s! Also how to direct contact you?
Great! Please contact me on WhatsApp or FB. My WA is on the bonus access page. If you are not sure how to get there please send me email or FB and I will be happy to assist with OTO recommendation or anything else.
@Ahmed arain Yes, why not..
Hi Jonas. I have a domain set up for sale on GoDaddy. It's been there for more than 6 months. I've not received any offers yet. It's estimated value is 1533 USD, so what according to you has gone wrong in my case?? Thanks in advance.
Impossible to say without knowing the domain name and listed price. Every domain is different.
Is this information still current? I’m ready to get started and I want to use the paid tool
It sure is. Absolutely. In fact, the paid tool is working better than ever now.
Hie thanks for the info. but can this be a full time income or its like many of the online money making schemes that you cant rely on.
@@JonasNielsen still relevant now?
Great video. One question I had is about the domain being expired - you mentioned it a couple of times. Is the thinking behind the expiration that it is more valuable because the original owner may want to buy it back? In addition to the keyword value?
Looking for expired domains is simply an approach that helps you find great domains easier. Since expired domains have already previously been purchased indicates that there is some demand for those... hard to explain, but in short, it doesn't matter if it's expired or not, as long as you find a great domain that can be sold for higher than you purchased it.
Super helpful. Do you Llist as auction or buy it now? Do you normally go with the Godaddy appraisal price?
Usually buy it now, and I always list lower than the appraisal price. The lower you set it the faster the sale (roughly speaking).
@@JonasNielsen thank you for that. If you had appraisal of $1,000 how much would you list it for? Do you so buy it now or auction? I you inspired me to get some domains this weekend now I have them listed but I listed at appraisal price. I think I need to lower it just not sure how much. Thanks so much for sharing!
@@Cajunventures According to godaddy most of the domains sold about its 60 percent of its appraisal price. Btw, I would like to know have you sold any up to now after this comment.
I BOUGHT SOME DOMAIN NAMES BUT FOR 2WEEKS NOWI HAVE SOLD ANY OF EM. WHAT MUST BE THE CAUSE?
Probably your domains you have picked are just average. You gotta find the great ones, but also be patient because 2 weeks is not a long time.
This is very helpful. Thanks
Is there an alternative for PR Rage?
You can use expireddomains.net as an alternative for free but might not allow you to find domains as quickly as with PR Rage.
Pls want to learn and go into the business can you guide me
Thank u for sharing this great content
On go daddy do u sell ur domain through the auctions?
I will usually list the domain as a Premium domain with a fixed price. But auctions with a buy now option is good too.
Jonas Nielsen will it be smart to do 7 day auctions or would u recommend premium listing?
@@Kevin-gg9ve 7 days isn't really enough to attract a buyer but it doesn't hurt to try. You can always do auction first and then Premium after.
Jonas Nielsen so do the auction that take 87 days?
Jonas Nielsen and how does premium work
I have been looking at domain flipping and I am really interested. I found a domain named deals.cool and it is for sale for 250 dollars and godaddy puts its estimated value at 1829 dollars. Would you recommend me going for it?
No.
I don't really see the appeal or demand, I would look for something else.
@@JonasNielsen awh. The search continues
@@JonasNielsen OOH! Hey, I found three domains that I think are good ones. What do you think about injuredeye.com (for eye stuff, maybe a business that works on vision) and costofcheap.com (for a business that works on cheap items and discounts) and computerprogram.org (for technology and computer programming)? Please give me your opinions and feedback, GD values them each above 1k and even 1.4-5k. Thanks!
